Once the deal is finally signed off and share overhang is cleared I'm confident we'll see a rebate here

Manini the point of investing as a long term holder is to see the share price increase not the opposite being true.

One would have expected a transformational deal to bring some transformation to the share price on relisting, like so many transformational deals have, and not a 25% fall.

Like I have said before to you, I continue to hold in the hope that I feel the benefit of this transformation at some stage, may be when those not interested in the company have sold.

SS we are now a profitable AIM company and will increase our production throughout this year. For an AIM company that is transformational! If you're gonna sit watching the share price every day and moaning about it I don't see the point of 'investing' you might be better off with a quick duck in and grab 10 percent strategy?

Lol Manini amazing how the same words aren't used for buys. So for every buyer there must be a seller.
And yet the share price remains weak.

Still waiting to see a transformation.

Didn't move though so clearly demand for the flipper's shares. Will see what happens in Egypt with Brian over there for all of next week.

Is it unbelievable?

Still lots of shares at 3p to burn through.
Oil price has dropped back 13% due to coronavirus.
Deal still not ratified.
No news on other projects.

Buzzzzzzz HUR is an excellent case in point. A mkt cap multiples of what it was in 2017 but with no increase in share price over the same period with the exception of peaks ahead of news flow.
In 2017 if I had been saying the same thing on the HUR BB I would have been lambasted.

I am hopeful this will be different, but the company now must work hard and make the priority to increase the share price and amend the damage done by the last placing that has left a lot of long term shareholders sore.
As Manini says it won't happen overnight, mainly because we have 150m shares @ 3p to eat through.
If there is to be another deal the way to fund it needs to be better thought about than this one.

SS I know exactly what you mean.

I am in HUR bought in at 38p and look at it now despite oil flowing!!!

Yes the hope is the share price will be higher but I have been hoping that since I have been here.
Given what we now have then that chance is much greater.
But I can judge the deal as it stands on what I know and that as yet the only ones who have done well are those in on the placing and not the ones who have backed this company for a long time.

My point is that if they do follow the same pattern and do another deal the share price may not be higher. Granted that may be the exception.

Neither of us know, we just hope that at some stage we will be rewarded for being here as I have done for the last 30months but as yet have been disappointed.

With that in mind I am sure you can understand my concern as my shares are still yet to reward me against what the management have continued to promise since I have been here.

And even then they may will likely NOT need to place with all the revenue coming in. But it makes sense for BL to hedge his best just in case something exceptional turns up that does require an element of market funding.

I understood your point SS, my point was that the deal hasn't yet been signed off so I think you should allow some time for the share price to increase, it never happens overnight. As we drill Abu Senan this year and continue to increase production do you not think it likely that the share price will increase? I do. As for another deal, I see that as being very unlikely until Q4 the earliest, the management didn't rush with this first acquisition, they waited until the right deal was found. And if you look at how long it took from initial announcement until actual placing you can work out that any new deal wouldn't be completed until sometime in 2021. By then we'll have 4 new wells drilled at Abu Senan with increased production, production at Selva with all it's upside potential and hopefully a farm out deal with a major for Jamaica. So with all that I see every chance that the share will be much higher than it is now which is what you're asking for. You can't judge this deal right now especially as we still have an overhang, is basically what I'm saying.

Manini I am invested and been so for a long time hence my displeasure with the placing.

That was not my criticism, in time it probably will reward us.
What I am saying is not just about growing the mkt cap.

If in the meantime the company do another deal before the share price has gone up a decent amount and overhang cleared, long term shareholders could end up getting similarly stung.

No point this being a £50 or £100m company if the share price is still struggling to attain 5p with massive overhangs to clear.
