Might be talking about two different things bountyhunter but effective date of the acquisition is 1st Jan 19, also from RNS 3rd Jan.

bountyhunter - no issues with Jan 1st, but soulsauce's point was that it's effective from the start of last year, 2019, not this year as you wrote ;-)

Components of the Transaction

The Transaction consideration comprises a deposit of US$0.3 million, payable on signing of the sale & Purchase agreement. A further US$15.7 million is payable on completion of the transaction.

The Effective Date of the Transaction is 1(st) January 2019. The Balance Sheet on the effective Date includes Cash of US$0.65m and Receivables of US$1.7m.

The lack of any institution of size (ie over 3%) is a bit of a disappointment despite the placings. The largest shareholder is an individual (not apparently connected with UOG) and he did not participate in the fund raising and has seen his interest diluted from 3.2% to 1.7%. Rockhopper now holds 18.5%.
