27/5/2021 10:27 | In my opinion meat-free and cell cultured meat/dairy is going to be a huge growth area over the next decade. For health and animal cruelty reasons but also for climate change reasons. Governments are going to find themselves in a position where they will eventually have to nudge diet in this direction. For the record I am a meat eater - but I am in my 50s. Youngsters are more open to this stuff. "Follow the money" as one ULVR poster says. | shieldbug

07/5/2021 15:54 | Charlie, usually the nominated broker will buy daily. Keep in mind although it sounds a huge number, re the ULVR market cap it's a small %. Helpful none the less as it reduces the share count which is EPS accretive - also saves Unilever on the dividend payments for those shares cancelled (or held in treasury). | essentialinvestor

04/5/2021 11:28 | Yes I did indeed Sid. All the best | ballychan
01/5/2021 10:16 | Can anyone explain Unilever's (Alan and Graeme's) use of the words lap, lapped and lapping? What are they talking about? Is it a recent C-Suite language fad that I have only just been exposed to? | shieldbug
30/4/2021 15:15 | Maybe he means the opening gap from yesterday morning, down to 4077.50p? Good luck everyone, Sid. | eaaxs06
30/4/2021 11:17 | bally are you being duplicitous, as a gap is currently being filled to 43.40 | techtrader5
30/4/2021 09:42 | The trading statement was good. Good growth in China and India. Just think of the potential. 2.5 billion potential customers. ULVR is a growth stock. | careful

30/4/2021 00:31 | Evening EI , thanks for the FT link. I never did dip my toe in with RKT. Happy with the way things are going with ULVR. "Unilever’s Degree Deodorant – also called Sure, Shield and Rexona – are the makers of the world’s #1 antiperspirant. The brand has now announced the launch of the world’s first inclusive deodorant for people with visual impairment and upper limb motor disabilities: Degree Inclusive." [...] | philanderer |
