In my opinion meat-free and cell cultured meat/dairy is going to be a huge growth area over the next decade. For health and animal cruelty reasons but also for climate change reasons. Governments are going to find themselves in a position where they will eventually have to nudge diet in this direction. For the record I am a meat eater - but I am in my 50s. Youngsters are more open to this stuff. "Follow the money" as one ULVR poster says.

Charlie, usually the nominated broker will buy daily.

Keep in mind although it sounds a huge number, re the ULVR market cap it's a small %.

Helpful none the less as it reduces the share count which is EPS accretive - also saves Unilever on the dividend payments for those shares cancelled (or held in treasury).

Not sure that will go down well in the emerging markets that they need to focus their attention on.

Can anyone explain Unilever's (Alan and Graeme's) use of the words lap, lapped and lapping? What are they talking about? Is it a recent C-Suite language fad that I have only just been exposed to?

Maybe he means the opening gap from yesterday morning, down to 4077.50p?

Good luck everyone, Sid.

The trading statement was good.
Good growth in China and India.

Just think of the potential.
2.5 billion potential customers.

ULVR is a growth stock.

Does Functional nutrition imply that the food currently being sold is no good for you and serves no function to the human body?

Evening EI , thanks for the FT link. I never did dip my toe in with RKT. Happy with the way things are going with ULVR.
