Well if the brokers are saying screaming 'buy' that means it's a 'sell'. I'm surprised investors still seem to fall for this nonsense. And so much for this period being a 'strong time' for the share price I suspect sub 4000 again before too long.

Are you aware what has happened to KHC in the meantime?. Little short of a disaster.

I think that is highly unlikely spoole5. I just think it boils down to poor leadership and corporate laziness filtering down.

Hope the management finally step up on Wednesday. Show numbers and plan of action for increasing EPS. Not passive remarks at how covid has caused problems and management is hopeful that this will stop soon. Feel I'll be screaming at the earnings call in disbelief again though. I can't believe that people paid litterally millions feel that it is ok to give a presentation that acknowledges (and excuses) a list of reasons their company, or large parts are in decline. It is embarrassing. Although I agree with their 'ethical' products orientation, this smokescreen is wearing thin now. I don't know how long this corporate hide-and-seek can go on.

One broker's in-house view following results in Feb:

On Thursday, Unilever’s (± m) shares fell 6.2% after its full-year results met City expectations and management unveiled new financial targets for the group, which underwhelmed.

Underlying sales grew by 1.9% (up 3.5% in Q4), thanks to positive contributions from all three divisions (Beauty & Personal Care up 1.2%, Home Care up 4.5%, and Food & Refreshment up 1.3%) and all geographic regions, except Europe (down 1.0%). Foods and refreshment for consumption at home continued to be a driver of growth, alongside hand sanitisers and home[1]hygiene products. Out-of-home food and ice cream sales and demand for personal-grooming products declined as people stayed at home. The e-commerce business grew by 61% (now 9% of the group).

The margin contracted a bit more than anticipated to 18.5% (down 60 basis points) due to the planned return to more-normal levels of marketing spend. Overall, earnings fell by 2.4% to €2.48, as expected, and the quarterly dividend wasraised by a pleasing 4.0% to €0.4268. The balance sheet and financial position were sound (ND/EBITDA reduced to 1.8x helped by strong cash flow).

Management reported good progress on integrating the Horlicks nutrition business (bought in April 2020) and also on work to move Unilever's Tea businessinto a separate entity by the end of 2021, ahead of either a stock-market listing or a potential sale. The process to unify the group’s dual-headed corporate structure into one London-based entity completed in November.

Looking ahead, Unilever said it starts the year in “good shape” and is “confidentR21; in its ability to adapt to a rapidly-changing environment. As part of its new financial framework, it reinstated its pre-pandemic sales-growth target of 3-5% (some industry watchers had hoped it would be raised). It also aims to grow profit ahead of sales and to deliver cost savings of €2 billion a year. However, plans for restructuring investment of €1 billion in 2021 and 2022 (in high-growth categories and key regions) was less-well received.

Unilever’s shares have materially underperformed over the past three months, after touching a new 52-week high in mid-October. However, the stock’s valuation remains at a premium to its peers.

In our opinion, Unilever is a high-quality consumer-staples company that benefits from a diverse range of products and a broad geographic footprint that provides some resilience across the economic cycle and has enabled it to pay uninterrupted dividends for more than a decade. The dividend yield is nearly 4.0% and above average for the sector.

Look at the long term chart - 5 years in a row now the price has been low early in the year, then at the year high late summer, based on that this is a good time to buy...

Not explained by XD dates either as the dividend is split equally quarterly.

You'll probably get the opportunity to average down as share price is still looking rather weak.

Think there are a few of us who have been averaging down with Unilever. I have got to break even now. Will be tempted to keep buying if the price drops back again. But I think more likely it will be more a case of averaging up over coming months.

This is a general request for where to seek profit expectations rather than specifically for Unilever, until a year ago profit forecasts were easy to obtain, I now find the websites I used to use for future profit expectations no longer seem to update,I understand forecasts have been more difficult due to the pandemic but I am really struggling to find this information, any ideas on where I could find this would be appreciated

Unilever share price has traded near a 12 month low around March over the last 3 years,

followed by a very nice % gain in to early summer.
