Income from Salt Cavern Hydrogen Storage is big money.

"The Royal Society predict UK will need c. 60-100 TWh of new build hydrogen storage by 2050, National Grid 2023 FES STS predicts ~50 TWh by 2050, primarily to store excess renewable electricity to meet future peak demand periods"

"Translates to a new UK asset class potentially of ~£10+ billion, with potential £ multibillion per year revenue market"

"Portfolio of 3 new national scale coastal salt cavern sites, each of ~2.7 TWh (~0.9 bn m³) ~15-20 caverns/site. Each site potentially = ~20% of predicted UK 2050 storage demand*"

"National grid 2023 FES STS scenario, H₂ storage @ max fill/withdrawal cycles = ~10.4 TWh/year"



Work it out!

Three sites, each site potentially = ~20% of predicted UK 2050 storage demand of a "£ multibillion per year revenue market. BIG money.

10TWh by 2030 is the first target. Which is still going to be big money on it's own.

I reckon this will be GBP150m when it gets government and/or private funding for the Salt Cavern in Portland.

GBP150m is way higher than the current GBP4.94m market cap, it would make UKOG 1.875p per share.
