Perhaps the tremors around HH have loosened up the oil even more than it was, last time it flowed beyond all expectations......Gla ;-)

Well we’ve hit BBC news, that should put us on the map. The swampies are again saying we are fracking and have started flow testing when we haven’t. How sad and desperate these people are. Any swampies out there WE ARE NOT FRACKING, how thick can they get. They should definitely stop chewing daisies!!!

wtd---for some time now I have had the opinion that SS has sailed VERY close to the wind with his RNS announcements, what he has and has not said---someone else,--getting away with it!! Thats not to say I am not sticking with it--may not really like the guy but I like the company especially if it can REALLY deliver. I am not in it for The Man but for The Money!!

I'm not selling anything, it's the failure to recognize that operational updates against severe spooking is required. It is a poor show which can so easily be rectified.

whoppy---Makes you really laugh when So called Friends of the Earth query a NATURAL occurrence could be some company drilling for oil---gives UKOG a bit more publicity!! Also could move the oil a bit nearer the surface, at this rate the oil will be spouting out of surface on its own accord HA HA Bring on the earthquakes!!!

Not too worried about the share price drop---to be expected, but as long as it is ALLOWED to rise on any GOOD news we get--which SURELY has to come??? Cannot see SS being allowed to hold on to Flow Test Results until end of programme!!! Price sensitive or what----maybe a good Friday RNS??

Was only worth 0.9p in last months Placing. Nothing's changed except now the management can pay themselves for a bit longer until the next rinse and repeat Placing.

The news right now is that an earthquake rocked Gatwick so those swampies are going to be having a field day.

n relation to today's earthquake story The Express is quoting the British Geological Survey with the Following:

They said: "Earthquakes with magnitudes of 2.7, 2.6 and 2.4 ML were detected by BGS on April 1, June 27 and June 29 2018, respectively, near Newdigate, Surrey, between Dorking and Crawley. The earthquakes were felt by local residents of Newdigate, Charlwood, Dorking and Crawley. Three smaller earthquakes with magnitudes of 1.8, 1.7 and 1.5 ML were also detected in the same location.

"We are unable to say categorically if these earthquakes are related to hydrocarbon exploration or production in the Weald, mainly because of the uncertainties in our estimates of the earthquake epicentres and depths. We use a process a bit like triangulation to locate earthquakes and our closest monitoring station was over 50 km away, so the errors in our location estimates are several kilometres. Our calculated epicentres for the earthquakes are approximately 4.5 km from the Horse Hill well, which is within our calculated uncertainty.

"We contacted the Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) on 28 June and they informed us that although UKOG plc made an announcement about flow testing at Horse Hill and the necessary equipment is on site, the flow testing has not yet been carried out. OGA are the regulatory body for oil and gas explorations and production in the UK.

"While it is well known that hydrocarbon exploration and production can result in man-made or "induced" earthquakes, such events usually result from either long term hydrocarbon extraction, or the injection of fluids (e.g. hydraulic fracturing) during production. It seems unlikely that flow testing, even if it had taken place, would result in induced seismicity.

"Although there have been no other instrumentally recorded events in the region in the last 50 years, there is evidence for historical earthquakes in the last 500 years, therefore a natural origin for these earthquakes can't be ruled out at this stage."

Ref: Injunction--will we hear tomorrow? OR has it been cancelled--I would not think so--SS will want it as an insurance policy. IMO that announcement was--as Trump would say---FAKE NEWS!! Huh!! ADVFN playing up again!!!
