06/7/2018 04:57 | Ker-ching!!! Gla ;-) Published 10:51 AM ET Tue, 3 July 2018 Morgan Stanley hikes oil price forecast to $85 as Trump targets Iranian barrels Morgan Stanley raised its forecast for Brent crude prices by $7.50 to $85 a barrel for the second half of 2018. The bank expects the oil market to be undersupplied as tougher-than-anticip Production increases from Saudi Arabia, Russia, the UAE and Kuwait will not be enough to balance the market, Morgan Stanley says. | moneymunch
06/7/2018 04:49 | HH Chairman's Statement 29/6/18 I remain very confident that the comprehensive long-term production testing campaign will provide the necessary data to fully assess Horse Hill's Portland and Kimmeridge commerciality and help move the project towards timely production in 2019. Our short-term flow tests at Horse Hill in 2016 provided the first step in our journey towards sustainable Horse Hill cash flow, demonstrating commercially viable metered initial stabilised rates of 323, 464 and 901 bopd from the Portland, KL3 and KL4 oil pools, respectively, over short 4 to 8 hour flow periods. We are confident that the EWT will build upon these short tests and move us closer towards our goal of positive cash flow in 2019. Horse Hill's 2018 forward plan will deliver a programme of three flow test sequences lasting in total around 150 days. These tests are designed to assess whether the well is connected to a commercially viable volume of oil in one or more of the threes discovered oil pools. Following a successful EWT outcome and an associated declaration of commerciality, a two well drilling campaign is planned to commence in late 2018/early 2019, comprising a Portland appraisal well, HH-2, plus a Kimmeridge sidetrack, HH-1z. Both wells are designed to be completed as future permanent oil producers, with first oil targeted in 2019, subject to the necessary regulatory approvals and field development consent. A planning application to convert the site to a permanent producing site is underway with a submission expected in late summer/early autumn. | moneymunch
05/7/2018 22:53 | Kenchung take a closer look. BB had drilling issues, I believe they will return there and use the knowledge they gained 1st time around, have a read up on it. (Maybe no more potato cutting compound/ maybe drilling at a slightly different angle/ defiantly a different time scales of the cement squeeze. Have a read up on it. HH has already flowed, have a read up on it. | markfrankie
05/7/2018 22:30 | Any news on the Gatwick Gusher? Is the Portland gushing 300 bopd yet? | henchard

05/7/2018 19:34 | Lol that's alright then...Gl ;-) ps Earthquakes in the UK UK Seismicity Map Historical seismicity of the UK (yellow) from 1832 to 1970 for earthquakes of magnitude above 3.0 and instrumental seismicity (red) from 1970 to present for earthquakes with ML >2.0. The UK is not generally associated with earthquakes, however, between 20 to 30 earthquakes are felt by people each year, and a few hundred smaller ones are recorded by sensitive instruments. Most of these are very small and cause no damage. However, some British earthquakes have caused considerable damage, although nothing like the devastation caused by large earthquakes in other parts of the world. The largest The largest known British earthquake occurred near the Dogger Bank in 1931, with a magnitude of 6.1. Fortunately, it was 60 miles offshore but was still powerful enough to cause minor damage to buildings on the east coast of England. The most damaging UK earthquake was in the Colchester area in 1884. Some 1200 buildings needed repairs, chimneys collapsed and walls were cracked. | moneymunch

05/7/2018 19:16 | The way to deal with a 5 or 6 would be to pitch one swampie group with one theory, another with another theory and maybe a third group. Set them against each other trying to win the argument. The theories will be so obtuse that it will be impossible to believe anything any of the say. | whattheduce |
