20/6/2017 08:23 | ps funky numptie...you're always wrong...if the GAS cap fits!!! Gla holders.... BB's flowtest permit, expected soon, will add significant value...;-))) pps funky, it's great to see the share price pushing North, don't you agree????;-))) | moneymunch
20/6/2017 08:23 | Being a complete non techno in this field---does WET GAS mean oil traces or oil presence?? Exciting times to come--we hope!! | mikeygit
20/6/2017 08:14 | Lol funky you desperate numptie...looking for the negative in every positive....you snide creature.... .the whole of the oil saturated Kimmeridge Interval throughout the SE of England is gas driven, with several gas discoveries in and around the area including Godley Bridge which lies within the license area, Baxters Copse as well as Albury which is close to Holmwood,.....BP and Esso and the other majors with a history of drilling in the SE of England were all hoping to find gas, that's exactly why the oil saturated Kimmeridge was overlooked as they drilled deeper looking for gas, assuming any oil within the Kimmeridge wouldn't flow, and that's why HH was drilled so deeply, in the hope of findng a commercial gas reserve.....the fact that so mo much gas has been detected above the first kimmeridge limestone is very good news indeed, and would be a game changer if gas was in commercial volumes as well as the expected free flowing oil...Gla holders Exciting times....Onwards and Up!!! ;-) | moneymunch
20/6/2017 08:11 | Feels like your trading blind without prices and volume! | niceyman1
20/6/2017 08:02 | Well as expected it seems they've encountered the KL and have increasing gas and wet gas throughout this section. So we've a source rock here, not surprisingly either. they've chosen a coring point just above the expected 1250m first reservoir. Great to see elevated gas as that can be associated with either oil or wet gas. Will be interesting to see analysis of this first KL. Sounds to me as if there's both potential for reservoir as the gas is becoimg elevated as they drill into a potential KL and often you find gas/wet gas as a cap above oil. So looking promising at present in terms of source and potential reservoir/seal. Also good news that the well remains currently under budget which will please many. Still another 500m or so to drill to 1700m measured depth, but a very interesting start already. Regards, Ed. | edgein

20/6/2017 08:00 | Fair enough. If I'm wrong I'm wrong, I'll take that. | funkmasterp12
20/6/2017 07:53 | I am competent to review this rns. Greenelf is correct. Gas accumulates above either water or oil. The target hasn't been reached yet but as gas levels are increasing within the layers above and the region has already produced oil, that is very promising.I'm 80% sure it's an oil find. It's the volume and grade which is key. | activeservo
20/6/2017 07:51 | Ray--Agree--but although some of us respect MMs hours and hours of posts and research , I do not see why he has to repeat an RNS over and over again when it is on the UKOG site for ALL to read??? Maybe he feels some need reminding? | mikeygit
20/6/2017 07:49 | This looks pretty positive to me. Just above first target and wet gas shows. Bears well i.m.o. | niceyman1
20/6/2017 07:42 | Hint... there are many K. layers, not all are targets. Best to keep quiet if you have no background in this. | greenelf
20/6/2017 07:37 | Read the whole sentence. Coring point just above, yes, but then it talks about gas "through the Kimmeridge" and then talks about taking 100ft samples. To me, that implies they've gone through the first target without an oil find (so far). | funkmasterp12
20/6/2017 07:35 | No you can't read, even after the hint lolOh dear :) | greenelf
20/6/2017 07:33 | I'm not a geologist, no! Neither is anyone here I would guess. I can read though. "The first coring point was called at a measured depth of 4013 feet (1223 metres) situated just above Kimmeridge Limestone 4 ("KL4"), the first reservoir target. Downhole natural gas levels increased steadily throughout the Kimmeridge section"The latter sentence would imply they've gone through this first target and not found any oil shows. I thought this well was meant to be a lookalike to HH-1? So far very little appears to be analogous. I stress this is my opinion based on my own reading. | funkmasterp12
20/6/2017 07:29 | Don't get in funk, you are not a petroleum geologist. Just wait until all is recent and explained to you...Hint..coring just above the reservoir target.... | greenelf
20/6/2017 07:26 | "Sanderson also HAS to only produce extremely strong good news at every step onwards too."Correct. And I'm not sure today's news is that great? | funkmasterp12
20/6/2017 07:21 | So it's about gas now? No mention of oil at all despite going through the Kimmeridge. There were oil shows at 2100ft at HH-1.Hmm... | funkmasterp12
20/6/2017 07:17 | I'm not capable of interpreting that rns, so I'll keep stum. | rayrac
19/6/2017 21:41 | lol Tonnes of ramptastic gas only coming from mm again soon.. A weak 10% up from 1p over the last month is hardly "fill yer boots!!" stock. It also wasn't ever viable to buy at 0.85p was it Induna ? Over 25% of the entire share issue was recently bought by short term holders at 0.8p per share in a placing. They and MMs as always banking profits. Interestingly ZN. Zion Oil has risen 150% in very recent days from around $1.30 to $2.75 today having been as high as $3.95. ZN. have consistently collapsed though back towards $1 a number of times over last 7 years. And are still not a producer either.. Some citing it as an affinity scam. Although buying recently at around $1.30 would have been alright. Can't see or say same for UKOG at 1p recently though. That not being 2.75p. Or ever likely. UKOG have a very long road of years ahead. It seeming to fizzle at every step since the placing at 0.8p per share. But no one ever knows. A bounce back towards 1.2p seemed possible given last 8 weeks from 1.3p down. Obviously if you bought any recently at 1p with new money and you are not already sat on substantial losses like moneymunch, then there's little to perhaps worry over presently. As a base of around 0.8p seems to be safe..? I'd never risk paying 50% above what numerous short term holders just bought many for in placing though. The potential upside each time has dwindled. Sanderson also HAS to only produce extremely strong good news at every step onwards too. Which is not likely to prove realistic in such needle in haystack high cost, high risk exploration industry. There's no merit to Britain having such vast natural resources under gatwick either. One bad step of news from Sanderson and this will only get axed down by 25% by mms again. High risk. | greater things are yet to come
