Stephen Sanderson, UKOG's Executive Chairman commented:

"I am privileged and excited to have seen, smelt and touched the oil in the KL4 samples today, alongside UKOG's management and operations team. This is a significant and positive result at such an early stage in the well.

Whilst this is still early days, the presence of mobile oil within a Kimmeridge geological feature that has no structural oil trapping configuration, demonstrates that both BB-1 and Horse Hill-1 could be part of the same Kimmeridge continuous oil deposit. This oil deposit may therefore extend over 30 km from north to south across the Weald Basin.

We will now continue our coring and drilling programme and then move to an extended flow testing operation upon the grant of the remaining necessary regulatory permissions."

Loving the days profits here. Still holding so I want the rise.

Couple of questions on usual type issues.

Large lump of cash placed in May but burn is fairly high.... What likelihood of a placing to take advantage of the rise? Fill the coffers so to speak

i ask as recently share options provided to contractors rather thAn pay cash. Either options called ( didn't see any restrictions?) or are they just very prudent with the money?

Well missed the big rise but managed to get in at 1.89 so already in profit. Hopefully it will continue on Monday morning. All the best

Well done moneymunch. A hole lot more to come next week. Im having a nice beer and enjoying my digital profit's. On monday we will see a huge rise as news is yet to circulate and big investor's start to join in. Have a good w/end all.

drills get that all the time....doesn't mean its a commercial discovery....or have I missed something.

probably great money still to be had on the hype...but re its only oil shows atm.
