I think the market is in general disbelief and the detractors are still in denial of the Major World Class Discovery at HH, which is likely to eclipse Wytch Farm peak 110,000bopd production by many multiples by the time multi-pad horizontal wells are established across the Weald, including neighbouring Holmwood etc etc....and all multi-pad well sites below ground level and screened, out of sight and the smallest foot print so that no one will know that they're there.....pumping 1000's bopd straight into a pipeline network. ....this is going to be huge imho, the detractors will have no choice to accept and full market appreciation will arrive. Fast tracking more than likely from UK Government.....gla lucky ones ;-)))

It's Limestone reservoir rock and it goes right across the Weald. The Kimmeridge is the source of the oil and also goes across the Weald. The limestone has sucked up the oil like a sponge. It has never been tested until HH. So it would appear there is a huge reservoir of oil across the entire Weald basin. Not just any oil but light sweet crude 40API. It's one of the best world class finds in decades.

Perhaps the market is waiting for an indication of how much oil is in the ground/reservoir at HH? It's ok to have 1360 bllspd, but for how long from that reservoir?

Just how big is the reservoir? Weald wide?

This is the para from the RNS I like:

The well's natural aggregate flow rate from the Kimmeridge limestones of 1360 bopd looks to be one of the highest natural flow rates recorded in a UK onshore wildcat well since the Wytch Farm discovery in the 1970s. It should be noted that the planned use of horizontal appraisal and development wells may further significantly enhance production flow rates seen to date.
