Except it's not a porkie or a slip is it? He intentionally mislead investors by making claims he knew were untrue. When he realised what he had done and how bad it would look he tried to deny it. Unfortunately for him the BBC had him on video making the claims he subsequently tried to deny.

Fast forward a few months and he's still making claims and for some reason the mugs think they are true. Why would they?

I think the truth is that only short localised oil flows are possible by drilling through fault zones in the Weald at thin micrite layer intervals. That's never going to lead to commercial production. To claim possible reserves for the entire Weald by using OIP numbers is absurd.

bmcb--I am sure we are all allowed a slip up or two to get what we want in the end--as long as no one gets hurt. Yes SS did tell a porkie and held back problems with the original drill at BB. I am sure he knows the error of his ways---as long as it all comes out good I will forgive him!!

@Henchard I've posted that before. All the bulls have seen it but they don't think it matters. Your WB quote is exactly why it matters. They don't get it but I suppose buying #UKOG above 1p also confirms they are dafties.

As each day passes without flow rate news the chances of good news diminish. It's been a month now since the last update. They obviously can't get it to work but the alternative to announcing poor results is to keep trying so that's what they do.

Its great, this site now, can scroll down so quick to avoid all the filters.
As Gismo rightly says, lots of work at site going on to make the flow tests as smooth and trouble free as possible. The results will come when they are good and ready and in a measured , professional manner. They will not be rushed because of a few loud .mouths!!
