Another skittish day for UAI. 232p bid, then suddenly after hardly any volume, just a few misguided AT trades - 222.75p offered. Unable to buy in any volume; but a great day for a small top-up if you have funds available...

Sky - I also jumped in last week. Took me over 2 weeks for my price to be filled in the most inconspicuous of tranches but.. i'm in at 223. Going to be adding these to my boys portfolio for a ten year.

U and I Group PLC (U+I) today announces that it has exchanged contracts to sell a one-acre site at Cross Quarter Abbey Wood to residential developer HUB, realising profits of c. GBP2.5 million, slightly ahead of previous guidance.........

....The sale of the final parcel of land announced today takes the profit generated on this project to date to GBP7.5 million, representing an IRR of 40%. Today's announcement takes the total profit realised in the year to date to c. GBP5.5 million, contributing towards the Company's anticipated FY 2016 gains of GBP54 million.

IMO the bottom was seen on the 24th when the share price flirted with 220p. The Indicators are turning, the sale pressure seems to have dried up. Now we could start to see a recovery, or at very least some base-building.

Whether or not one agrees with HE in viewing UAI as "a pile of crock"; I have to agree with him in that I view it as "Fine for trading in and out of".

That's always the way I've played it. Timing on entry never perfect; but always the underlying value wins through.

The prospective discount and yield now make UAI an extremely attractive trade at 220p.

Well HE - now could be the right time to trade in; and out again at or ahead of the Prelims next April. Broker forecasts for yr/end Feb'16 NAV is 300p. So now down at 220p the discount has widened to 26.7%; whilst the yield with a repeat of last year's payments would be 6.3%...

That's right. Slag off leeds for pointing out what a pile of crock this is. Fine for trading in and out of. Not one to tuck away and expect to perform well in the longer term. Firmly run for the benefit of management and no one else.
