Legendary Investments Plc

Moonpig.com founder purchases stake in Virtualstock Holdings Ltd
at a Valuation of £58 million

Legendary is pleased to announce that Nick Jenkins, founder of Moonpig.com and angel investor has purchased a small stake in Virtualstock Holdings Limited ("VS") at a valuation of £58 million from two of the founders of VS. The transaction is structured such that should VS issue shares at a valuation lower than an agreed premium to the £58m valuation or fail to reach certain long term targets, the selling founders shall have to compensate Mr Jenkins by transferring to him further shares. The selling founders and their families continue to hold 25% plus of VS each and remain fully commited to the business.

The valuation reflects the significant progress that VS has made since the April 2014 valuation of £25 million, and its continuing substantial potential. It places a value of just over  £4 million on Legendary's stake.

Nick Jenkins, Angel Investor, said:

"I am delighted to be a shareholder in Virtualstock and in particular, I am extremely excited about the enormous cost saving potential this groundbreaking technology will bring to the NHS."

Andrew Mills, Chief Executive Officer of VS, said:

"We are delighted to have Nick Jenkins as a shareholder, and welcome his experience and expertise in taking Virtualstock to the next stage of its development."

Zafar Karim, Executive Chairman of Legendary said:

"We are delighted that Nick Jenkins has taken a stake in Virtualstock. Nick is an established angel investor and has significant experience in the technology sector having founded, grown and sold Moonpig.com. His network and experience in building disruptive business models will be invaluable to Virtualstock. We welcome having him as a fellow shareholder".

A lamentable performance.

Over 60% down in two years.

Still, that's what you get for following a lying amateur.

from a recent report just published :
Recent data suggest that the spread and prevalence of insecticide resistance in head lice in the United States is caused by knock down resistance (kdr)-type mutations. However, treatments available to the public in the United States rely almost entirely on pyrethroid insecticide-based products. In the UK, on the other hand, insecticides have almost disappeared; there are very small market shares for both 1% permethrin creme rinse (Lyclear creme rinse) and 0.5% malathion (Derbac-M liquid), which are both severely affected by resistance and should no longer be recommended,( and are not as i have previously pointed out ) as stated in the British National Formulary). However, these facts and differences have not stopped misleading reports from appearing in the media. =========== eg the reports last week that were quoted here

there are products marketed as “homeopathic” louse killers that have a small quantity of sodium chloride added to them but there is no evidence of their efficacy ========== i hope the french dont read the following ..........
Although there have been suggestions that lice can infest household items (e.g. bedding, hats, sofas, etc.), lice do not survive away from their host and so any actions on the environment (e.g. spraying pesticides in the home or freezing teddy bears) are unnecessary.

Although I would love to perpetuate the myth that Vamousse is the only OTC headlice treatment which works on resistant lice, unfortunately it is not the case. The Hedrin active ingredient has a similar mode of action to Vamousse and claims that resistance is not possible. I suspect that resistance to anything is ultimately possible but not in the short term.

Any chance of a knock on effect went out the window with that 60k sell & subsequent drop on the bid. The mm's have put paid to any hope of a good day with that ridiculous spread.

Their next move will probably be to drop the offer to try to shift that 60k.

Interesting to see TYR up 20% so far today.
Nearly on parity. TYR 3.0 & TYRU 3.375

Hopefully that have a knock-on effect here.

Any further buying tomorrow and this will fly past 4p... anyone following the trades will know. There's very little stock to be had at under 4p

Off to the races?

The big earners will be further down the line with animal health and in particular their offerings for companion animals where the market is worth $1bn annually.

Management here were responsible for the success of Frontline with Merial & they already have POC for alternative, nature derived solutions. It's a case of when, not if.

In addition to their general advertising, I would like TYR to be exploiting ceaselessly and effectively the commercial gold that their main competitors are no better than a placebo and that Vamousse uniquely, or nearly uniquely, is effective.

Somerset,

They have been advertising on TV recently.

I've no idea what their 'press team' is up to but given the fact that Vamousse has already grabbed at least 7% market share in under 2 years they must be doing a grand job.

7%....that's some going. 2-3% would be a good result.

The article in the Times (and the underlying research) is potentially very valuable to TYR, but what is their press team up to?

There are no tweets on the topic, no update to the Vamousse website and just one comment referring to Vamousse on the Times's article on its webpage (not obviously from TYR)?

Have they written to the Times asking for a correction to the statement that there are no effective OTC remedies against superlice?

Are they rushing out ads to tell the story?

Vamousse

Unit sales of Vamousse were in line with expectations, showing strong growth over the corresponding period for 2015 across all geographies and customers. Vamousse continues to establish itself as a leading brand and is performing well in the market against competitor products, gaining market share.

The Company expects to announce its interim results in mid-September 2016 and will give a further update at that time.

Not long now.

No.28 on the risers list.

Thanks langland.

Much of that is backed up in Vamousse reviews where folk are saying current offerings don't work anymore. With Governments also banning a large number of chemical pesticides this has to be good for Tyratech going forward.

A few snippets......

They stalk our primary schools, feeding off our children. They are impervious to attack, growing stronger and meaner with each passing generation. They are the supernits, and they are coming to a child’s scalp near you.

Scientists have warned that head lice have now evolved to the point that they are resistant to all over-the-counter treatments.

“It’s a natural evolution. With all insecticides, whether you are using them on malaria mosquitoes or lice, the more you use them, the more resistant strains develop. The resistant strains are the ones that survive to procreate and produce more resistant offspring. It’s an ongoing battle and always has been.”

In general, nits only affect children of primary school age, after which they start washing and combing their hair more regularly, as well as using products such as gel that tend to produce a less amenable habitat.
