I wouldn't lose any sleep over htg's remarks about having to spend £60.
Work it out for yourself based on the average number of children per household and I doubt you'll ever get to £60.

I've read many a review where the person has gone and bought an extra can or two for emergencies so the average person is prepared to pay what it costs for the right cure. Others have treated 2 or 3 heads with one can.

Not sure why he started going on about agendas either as imo most, if not all posters on here are here for sensible discussion regarding Tyratech as an investment and it's product range.

Another thought I had is - perhaps they are holding back the vamousse marketing budget until the Autumn term starts. From memory, that is when lice cases peak post the summer holidays.It would make sense this year in particular, because they are now present across a much wider estate of outlets and would get bigger bang per unit of marketing spend.

I don't like agendas on boards either, but if you are going to make claims against a stock idea then you should do your best to help people understand.Can anyone else help? Does a single lice infestation on average result in three further cases within a family? Seems extraordinary.

I think you are right Michael and its all about timing to get the most bangs for your buck with regds to advertising.As they have done with Vamousse get the product in store then a concerted effort to gain awareness.

I'd guess management are onto this and are making plans to push Guardian in the Southern States. It's a big opportunity for them. Amazon reviews are excellent(67% give 5 & 23% give 4 star ratings).

News in the next month or two perhaps.

They are currently giving away test samples in return for reviews...this one just 3 weeks ago...

So the first 4 cases of "home grown" Zika have been confirmed in Florida.This really is just the beginning for the US and i hope that Bruno can place Guardian on the shelves in the same way he has with Vamousse.Check out this stock I followed when the Ebola outbreak started they sell Hazmat suits and look at the spikein Oct 2014

I don't think htg is saying vamousse is a bad product, just that it is expensive per head. But I still don't understand his £60 cost per family argument.I think he is saying that if a child gets lice then on average 3 other family members also get it. Hence, 4 x £15 = £60 ie quite a lot of money.At first I thought it was an interesting point, but.. three additional infestations per child?.. With the best will in the world that is hard to believe. Is there evidence of this?Without the £60 headline cost, having accepted it is a premium product (it works well but is non toxic) - I'm not sure why he is so adamant it has little commercial potential, but still interested and thankful to hear his view..

This product is amazing. I've spent so much money on cheaper, less effective products. This product you only have to use once, comb for nits, and wash it out. The lice and nits are gone. This product has been a life-saver for our family.

What's the difference between your business, other than size, and the top 4 pharmaceutical chains in the USA?

Michael and I bought between 2 and 3p so i think that means we are making money. I cashed in some Sept spreadbets this morning and made over 50% on one 50k trade bought at 2.6p!

Ho hum but you keep on pretending the price only goes down......

If you have the more expensive stock sitting on your shelf it produces no return.90% of sales come from 10% of stock traditionally.l know where to come for retail advice in future.just as well it is in the same place as where to come to get advice on where to lose money on shares.

Re amazon how many have they sold and how many reports are there.I repeat that the problem with lice products is the patients not reading instructions.I have been doing an audit of patients and glaucoma eye drops and have discovered 95% are not putting their eye drops in correctly.it is in the patient leaflet and I assumed the hospital where the patient receive their first supply instructed the patient how to put them in. Anyone reading this should look how to put them in.please reply if you are doing it correctly with pressure as directed iin the leaflet or not. The glaucoma society put the figure as 65%wrong.

Err yes of course. I am beginning to doubt your business capability 😜. The point is you only have to sell (and make) 2 to make the same profit as 3, which means a better return on capital. Ask Pfiizer about that policy.....they are the past masters!

My customers are all local local and trust me they like nothing more than complaining if I have sold them something that does not work.please note there is a difference between selling and serving.I never sell anything unless I am sure it will work.I would have gone bust years ago if I had.my patients go walkies on a local large open area and if one annoys one person 100 people know after 4 hours as they all discuss it.

Incidentally the profit margin on all these products is the same so 3. X10=2x15 = 30. The actual profit per can at 15 is more than the profit per bottle at 10. I do not suggest you take up a any trade that involves selling something at a profit.
