if the Gondwanaland theory proves thenthe Kenya playshould be in the bag

"The early indications we have in the rift basin is that they are generally oil prone," said Africa Oil Chief Executive Officer Keith Hill. Royal Dutch Shell Plc and Amoco Corp., now part of BP Plc, drilled wells in Kenya and recovered oil in the early 1990s, according to Hill.

I would have thought that TLW has more than enough on it's corporate plate at the minute.... got to get the $2.9bln... then pay off the bridging loan, then invest the rest in Zaedyus and the like?

They're still in Uganda, Hec, but have now got CNOOC and Total to hold their hand, as equal partners. TLW due to receive $2.9bln any day now for the consideration. The big opportunity for an share price surge now seems to be off S America with the Zaedyus field

I should have held onto TLW 2 years ago ( 800 and 1000p levels) but needed money for elsewhere. ( That elsewhere was XEL , then 56p).
TLW is doing well now. Phillis reminded me. I lost much interest after they left Uganda, assuming they have left it!
On watch, should GKP come good I may buy some TLW if not too dear by then!

eipgam, keeping my eye on Heritage. I can see it is a channel, but it looks like it has moved above one line of resistance. If it gets over 205 - 210 then maybe worst is over? (probably a new jet I hear you say)!

thanks for that eipgam. Only the first step though and could go either way depending on next RNS, but a positive today for sure.

I'm thinking that Likonde-1 high pressure gas influx at the end of the drill has a part to play in this. It was downdip of this current well, so possibility that the two are connected either at this current level or deeper (wells 14km ish apart). If it does result in a commercial onshore gas find I think there will be a lot more interest. Cove / Anadarko offshore at many times the drilling cost are doing so well, to mention but two.

Plus Far East bought in at 5p recently.

I'm thinking Tullow have more than enough oil prospects elsewhere, so no interest in gas, but all imo, dyor etc.,
