I am afraid the 53p hard support has been broken, so where will they try to take this now?

Absolute disgrace how the MM can reduce this at will for no reason, corrupt as u like, and a fine example why the FSA should be disbanded.

Very true. Oil at $120/bbl suggests we need more of it than the market can easily supply.

COAL,OIL AND GAS

BETTER TO HAVE IT AND NOT NEED IT THAN TO NEED IT AND NOT HAVE IT

Billy thx for that. Well LGIM would say that wouldn't they, as their objective is to get better terms given their limited, or zero, shares in Tullow and a 3.91% (last time I looked) stake in CNE.

The green washing argument LGIM advocate is a little simplistic. I mean, come on, onshore Egypt routinely flares massive amounts of associated gas like much of MENA. Power generation in field onshore Egypt is diesel, not gas. OTOH a new GSA in Ghana will transition the rural population away from cutting down trees or burning Kerosene, dung and whatever else they use for cooking.

The world still needs oil. Better to have it produced by responsible operators with ESG credentials/objectives, which Tullow clearly have under Rahul.

Incidentally all those Tesla's in China and Germany run on electricity a sizeable chunk of which is generated from coal!

Joining up the dots. Another TEN cargo shipped 8 days ago suggesting May production has been weaker than of late. Probably closer to 20K rather than the 24K to 25K in recent months. As previously mentioned the rig has moved over to TEN. Was on Enyenra(S) for about 3 wks. Rig now in a new position about 5.6kms due Nth of the FPSO, which afaics is kind of on the edge of the Tweneboa Non-associated gas discovery. And a little outboard of Enyenra(N) as mapped. Neither of these locations are near the 2 N'tomme "strategic" wells to be drilled later in the year. I'll leave it to you guys to work out what it all means with the help of map on p.70 of

JUB had another offload over this weekend. Suggests 95K as a rough pointer. Which is great.

Guess we will have pseudo longs now effectively dishing the deal when in reality they have a short agendaReduce debt and expansion of exploration opportunities I would have though. Even a monkey can see that

Investor LGIM airs doubts over £1.4bn tie-up of Capricorn Energy and Tullow Oil
There is ‘no clear strategic rationale’ for deal, says top 10 shareholder

The UK’s biggest asset manager has warned it has “strong reservations” about Capricorn Energy’s proposed £1.4bn tie-up with its London-listed rival Tullow Oil, claiming there is “no clear strategic rationale” for the combination

Utter Rollox, I wonder why LGIM never mentioned how the TLW share price has been manipulated lower for the last 2 years to enable CNE get our assets on the cheap.

Crooked as you like, and makes you wonder if they were part of the share price manipulation scam!

Presume they are drilling a new producer on Enyenra now (unless it's a workover perhaps?) The next 3 or 4 wells on TEN are crucial I feel as decline at our TEN w/int% has largely offset the fantastic gains won on Jubilee.

Thanks so much XX for the link.

Good to hear the Rig may be on Ten having all that spare production capacity its such a waste Ten FPSO can produce 80,000bbls/d I guess they will have to lay additional subsurface pipework for new targets hence 2025.

SS & others,

Think a while ago you asked about the AGM video link. If haven't seen it yet like me, it's here

Mainly aged and disaffected shareholders in the Q&A who made some good points regarding past sins from McDade era. Rahul however comes over very well. He touched on drilling costs per well which have come down from $75m to $52m and from what I'm seeing there may have been further improvement this year in time to drill a well.

Incidentally (it wasn't mentioned in the AGM) but I'm now 100% sure that Cyan green dot on Enyenra is the rig. i.e

Rig moved from Jubilee to TEN approx 22/May or a tad before.

Badger, for me the whole investing experience in the last 25-30 years has not been a good one with the highs of winning and only to lose it again, over the years ended up losing a lot of money with trying to chase money lost in companies that had corrupt owners, cheating you out of your shares by doing consolidations, change in company name, reverse take overs etc scams... This is my final go with TLW and RR as having had to work longer then I thought I don't need the amount of money when I was hoping to retire at the age of 50 to 55 years old, if this gets to 100 and RR 200, I will pack this game in, and hopefully pack my job in by end 2023 at the grand old age of 63...GL and a nice weekend.

I sold at 8 and was sick when it went to 16Nearly felt I got scammed I bought them at 14p can you believe At the present price I'm in profit given I bought at 1.45 but a lot back in the teens to lower my average Given that 90% of all jobs and contracts in India involve graft mayor Rahul is well placed to oil the necessary wheels with the Tim pot dictators.Given the markets are collapsing it's time to pull up the sheets and wallow
