Kind of difficult to say what the rig has been up to. Looks like it part drilled the gas/inj (top hole section, or sections), then moved 2 or 3 kms updip to start another well (producer perhaps as updip?), then returned to the gas inj (for completion?), then back to the updip location on the other well (to finish that one off?), still there. May get some hard facts when KOS report, usually 2nd week of May. 95K could be a tad optimistic, but we'll see.

Agree XX. Now Kenya is the last big mess that Raul needs to sort out.

Un confirmed report on LSE.

Jubilee production in excess of 95k BOPD.
Planned shutdown at month end, coincides with well upgrades for gas production.

Then focus on Ten!

These guys seem well organised

Meanwhile costs of building the pipeline have spiralled upwards to $5bn according to Upstream.

We are better off out of it. Good decision by Rahul considering overstretched balance sheet at the time of sale.

I think the future will be private equity and not able to see easily who is lending out the money,
Tullow could close the London Office and work from, a lock up somewhere out of focus
BP relocated some years back.

Very interesting SS. According to that the refinery in Tema Ghana is still shutdown due to a lack of crude and feed stock!

Europe and Africa are swimming in different directions. Africa needs oil and refined product but ESG Europe doesn't want to finance new capacity.

Hi XX
Uganda and Kenya seem stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Kenya have major fuel shortages problems.
I had a look at the Mombasa Refinery thinking perhaps they would re vamp it as it was closed in 2013, Tullow were able to use the Oil storage /export area.
Essar sold back its 50% stake to the Kenya Government and walked away, later ENI were looking at making into a bio Refinery.
I found the following which may be of interest for all Africa though some information not available Ghana is covered Its from March 2022.

Tullow Oil and ENI utilise Russia-Ukraine war to pressure executive

Oil companies operating in Ghana want to increase their offshore fields' gas production.

They hope to convince the Akufo-Addo administration to go along with them, given the risk that Russia's war in Ukraine poses to LNG imports into Africa.
