Do you think the article is fair are we goosed?

My big concerns were firesale of assets and lack of commercial discoveries but I production is really plunging unrelated to wells/ maintenance do you think the negative valuation is deserved? If for example, POO returns to $80+ could that be enough to justify valuation? As I see the vaccination saga will run. Countries will reopen but air travel will be very limited at least until september. 2022 could be a year of very high oil prices. Do you think it is better to relocate into another oil play or can Tullow come good in that time frame?

i.e. is the planned shutdown just a disguise for reduced capacity?

Sorry for the multitude of questions, I'm a little overweight here and trying to get an idea of how bad things are and fair valuation.

An opposite negative unproven comment. On the other hand, it could be an easy fix. Who knows until proven facts are released.

I think they will do it easy peasy and we will all be rich if the MM stops manipulating the share price for their sewer rat shorting mates.

"The author has a short position in the stock." Fair enough - you would expect it to be negative. Nevertheless it is an interesting read and shouldn't be dismissed out of hand. Quite a few of the points they mentioned on Ghana mirror my own concerns as previously mentioned..... the high and increasing GOR ratios, steep production decline, limited gas off-take, flaring, gas handling bottle neck on the FPSO's etc etc

Sure they haven't drilled enough wells in the past..... but even so, Ghana is a big mess (thanks McDade) and fixing it may not just be a matter of drilling a few wells that magically restore lost production, as some on here seem to think.
