Key Points

European stocks are expected to open in mixed territory Wednesday, reflecting sentiment in Asia-Pacific and U.S. markets.

London’s FTSE is seen opening 10 points lower at 6,770, Germany’s DAX down 41 points at 14,981, France’s CAC 40 down 13 points at 6,079 and Italy’s FTSE MIB down 32 points at 24,401, according to IG.

Just think only a couple of weeks ago on March 15, this hit 65p, that seems light years away now. Hoping for a bounce, and this drop was only down to someone adjusting their profit/loss accounts for end of the tax year.

One possible explanation: a hedge that had today as the end of quater day (could be the 30th of every month or the last Tuesday in the month) trashed the share price at the close to make a short position look more profitable (or less loss making). The sudden drop near the end against a strong market and a decent day for Tullow looks like a deliberate attempt to create a low closing price.Or it was a badly executed sell

Probably Goldman Sucks as they are doing the same thing with Metro Bank... They buy 5% and it rises then sell 5% and it falls then buy it again and sell it ---- repeat.

Dropped about 8% in last 15 mins, manipulated beyond belief . Seems to be the only one with such a large drop at this time.
