Oil will pass $40 with relative ease..

The new CEO will take his position within the next few weeks..

There is a catalyst to see gains added immediately.

We KNOW there will be further news on asset sales... Wouldn't that be great for the new CEO to announce? A further increase to be had upon that news.

And then, lets see him dig into his own pocket and that will send the share price flying once he has meat in the game.

And it will come... All the above will come..
You know it, I know it..

The shorts will start closing.. Currently they are hoping the covid situation gets worse and more people die, but with governments the world over now seemingly getting a grip on it and understanding more and more about the virus with each passing day, normal folks like us, who prefer to invest and make money through growth as opposed to destruction can sit back and watch the short squeeze when it happens... And happen it surely will.

TLW is in a pretty safe position with close to $1 Billion of headroom.
With 2020 oil hedged and a large amount of 2021 oil hedged and no short term debt maturity.

I said months ago people will become very rich here. I said that at 9p..
Just £100k in it then would be over quarter of a million today.

Sit on the sidelines and analyse, or put your money in and reap rewards.

And if not. Any market fall brings you down, possibly way down, don’t you agree?
Something just doesn’t smell right. Really considering a big short position.

perhaps you could elaborate?
or at least provide a back of an envelope calculation to back up your assertion.

Cash in bank equates to 97p a share!

They have got to let tlw go at some point.

I assume that is Uganda and ignoring the debt.

Hi Davidspringbank.

Where do you get the 96p/share figure from?

As I understand it, they already have 96p per share in the bank. The oil price has been on an upward track since bottoming out and demand is bound to increase once lockdown is over. The sooner the new guy gets his feet under the table and sorts things out, the better.

As oil moves towards $40 it will become a self fulfilling situation.

I'm beginning to think that there is another reason TLW. Share price isn't going higher where it should be! I don't know what it is, any one knows?

If shorts are getting squeezed elsewhere in the market they might start closing here.

teamwork1...good article and thanks for posting the link.

So am I reading it right?...Tullow, Total & partners want $2Bn from Kenyan Government whereas Kenyan Government are saying it's around $1.85Bn...so we're only arguing over the last £150m?
