During lockdown, my car's been doing three months to the gallon so just wait until they kick people off their sofas to get the economy going for consumption to really take off.

The price has jumped up to the next level on the chart: 25 to 25.5 and the two short-term moving averages are correctly aligned below the share price so we just need the shorters to do the right thing and buy back their shares. The ball is in your court, you know it makes sense.

The population of the UK will increase annually by more than the take up of EVs.

Until they can bring EV vehicles under £20k with decent range, and the UK really embraces EV and spends billions on the infrastructure required and charging stations are as commonplace as actual petrol stations....there is no way oil is going anywhere in the next 10 years. The UK is simply not ready for EV. Plus many buyers are put off by the fact that some of the more reasonably priced ranges (I.e. Renault), you will pay the finance agreement for the car itself, but added to that, you'll also pay a rental fee for the batteries. It's just no economical for the average Joe in comparison to traditional cars.

With all the blood, sweat and tears that went into building this up to be a player on the world stage it must have been heartbreaking, back in March, to see it at 10p a share. The same thing happened in 1998 when I was working in the oilfield. The oil price dropped out of the sky and projects were put on the back burner.

They're trying to get us to convert to electric vehicles, but with high unemployment who can afford them?

Indeed. OTOH Marshall Wace, Odey and Varde have been increasing their shorts. If these sell it may mean the share price has gone down!

Shorters need to buy back 140 million shares. You can see on short tracker. Tlw2 shorters dipped below 0.5% threshold in last 2 days. But there will be quite a few just under the 0.5% reporting threshold.Just Shorters buying back 140 million shares and this should be mid 30s imo.DYOR

It's cheaper to buy 50,000 at £0.248751 than mess around with small lots so I've now got 100,000. That's me done.

I also bought the same number of Lamprell following their contract win in Sharjah. I don't think there's any way that they're going let the oil market collapse from here. Consolidation is the name of the game.
