I just traded the open beautifully sold £200 long spread bet from yesterday at 25.4 at 27.43 and bought back in at 26.30. Nice You have to try to trade with the shorts they are the guys deciding where the share price goes.

The short squeeze is a thing of the past, the vast majority of shares are institutionally owned and SP's are so controlled that few to none experience anything like a serious short squeeze these days.

The problem is here that it looks like TLW can survive longer so the Shorts are in Quandry. Now they have to trade their way out of a very awkward position. They will buy back and sell to manipulate the price as it recovers to new trading ranges. The only thing that may catch them with pants down is a speculative takeover offer from left field.

Shorts were lined up for TLW to go bust they were obviously Hoping for a debt for equity swap as I imagine they are short stock long bonds. They buy Bonds at discount with the profits from shorts. Then they hope to convert the bonds to equity at expense of all current shareholders at the demise of the company when it is forced into a debt for equity by the bond holders It's legalised crime

DB, take a look at HYVE, they are doing the African oil week exhibition on 2 - 6th November, the CEO from Total SA is a confirmed speaker and someone from Tullow is expecting to speak also, all the African Government officials in the sector will be attending also.

Given that the vast amount of oil stored in tankers, etc, and a recovery in the EU and USA economies unlikely to take off in a meaningful way, the P.O.O. is never going to hit $70 a barrel this year.
