Got to agree with you. Some wild theories on here, and even worse over on the LSE board. Medium to long term this is going north. May even go north in the short term with new CEO and asset sale announced. If this does retrace a on Tuesday, it won't be by much and no way below 20p imo.GL all invested here.

Urmmmmmmmm...

Lots of silly speculation...
Oil finished > $30 knowing the OPEC results.

But.......

Irrespective of that... TLW have hedged 2020 oil and a large percentage of 2021 oil at > $50

Blue skies ahead..

You experts make me laugh...

Sbb1x, nice to hear that you made money on your punt, but now you de-ramping? Just be pleased you have come out with a healthy profit, rather then be greedy hoping that the price comes down so you can buy back in to make more. If the oil starts to recover to $45-50, then I can only see this going one way and that is up, IMHO so still worth buying around the 22-26p level. This as been smacked on the basis of Covid-19, and lockdown measures but that will change in time especially with the update telling us all they have the where with all to stay in business for the next 12 to 28 months. The golden goose on this was at 7.5p when it was priced to go bust, only wish I myself had the balls to buy in at that price a 100,000 cfd's at a cost about £1500, would have been 20k up now. Stay safe and good luck. Off to my garden to enjoy the sunshine.

Trump concerned about mid west shale jobs, Exxon and US oil industry and all going belly up if oil remains at these levels (which is Putin's goal and so Trump's concenr). He wants oil higher-50s which is fine for TLW. This will be back at £1 later this year.

TULLOW is going nowhere market don't open till Tuesday Brent can still go up and most oil.companys, have I think.priced this in hence the volatitlty on Friday with company's like BP shell etc. Markets know more than any of us with Brent crude at 31.5. Could easily go to 35. My opinion is tullow is a good stock Brent at 31 has been priced in five it time when all this is over and demand picks up to say 45 50 a barel how much will tullow be then. This is a market which will recover and be strong. Anyone agree.Happy Easter my friends and stay safe

Sbb1x, I don’t understand your Dad and Son story. We all know that you’ve been on oestrogen for the last 2years and recently had your balls removed. Plus before that you couldn’t get your deeeeek up. So you haven’t a son and have no chance of getting one. FFS stop dreaming.

Its being reported that the cut is 10m barrels a day, with Iran, & Venezuela exempt, whilst the U.S.& Mexico are not taking part.

India the world's largest consumer of oil has cut its consumption by 70%, a reflection of the shut down of industries in the country.

What happens if the cut is not big enough and global capacity to store the excess no longer exists.

Presumably, the acid test on whether the cut is big enough will be decided by the subsequent P.o.O.

Dad,Do you remember when you bought 1 million tlw shares at 8 pence each and sold the lot for 26p each and made a fortune. Son,Yes it was amazing turn around, Dad,Why did you sell ?Son,I sold because shorters would not let us break 30p what is 420 million mkt cap.Dad,What is your next move ?Son, I will buy a shed load of salted popcorn and watch this play out from the side lines for now.Dad,What do you remember from January 2016 oil crash ,Son,Not trading the big the swings and making loads, I will not make that mistake again.Dad,What are your final thoughts?Son,99 % of people on these boards are like women, never trust any of them.Son,Always remember let the trend be your friend, and never go against the trend.

RE: Tuesday openingThu 23:42a lot will depend on what the G20 oil producing nations will decide to cut tomorrow plus as you mentioned there will be some further US discussions early next week with regard to further US cuts. In some ways it's useful that the G20 meeting can see the oil price reaction to a 10.2m cut. The 10.2m figure represents a 23% reduction across those OPEC+ states. If the US, Canada, Norway etc can meet that 23% OPEC+ target, then there is a chance that the market will respond positively

Oil going lower as expected, the cuts are not enough. The super tankers leaving middle east for America take 30/35 days to arrive. The world is drowning in the stuff so price will go lower.Tlw will follow oil down, people will be buying hoping they bought the bottom, but it will drip lower and create waterfall effect.Next targets20.4p15p12.5p
