JP Morgan going for a 5%+ total in the company is a about the only positive atm, in terms of hedging TLW looks a different animal than PMO, TLW still selling oil for $60 in Jan & Feb, and 60% looks hedged for the remainder of 2020 at a FCF+ selling price, and there is a OPEC meeting on the 18th of March, so all shouldn't be lost just yet here, probably just have to wait 2-3 weeks till Corona flies over.

good question ham

i guess its really really dependent on the various values to the potential buyer

At present nothing is black nor white

my view for what its worth is that the co. is worth more than the current sp
but we live currently in bad times

Would any bidder need to pay par or 100 cents on the dollar for the debt and convertibles? Or could they make an offer perhaps at a small premium to current market prices, which are much lower? Is the enterprise value of the company defined by par value or market value of debt?

EV tends to be done on all variables. However which EV is used will no doubt be one that suits the bidder most at the time to xommence
