15/2/2017 12:10 | There are some weak supports down to where the gap is, however if the market is slowly driving it down to fill the gap, then I think, it will bottomed out.Just have to monitor and reassess as it goes. (I'm just going on the t/a only and have not taken any fundamentals into the equation) | sux_2bu

15/2/2017 11:14 | A bid now as the oil price is steady , the big wig is retiring, they are undervalued (because of the debt level), they have a ballooning asset in Kenya, have very hot licenses in South America not to mention that Ghana will throw off $1bn cash every year at $52 oil. The cost to generate a barrel would seriously help the big boys reduce their average cost of a barrel (BP average cost is north of $50 a barrel, Tullow's is $13.8. I reckon Total Oil is the Company to do it. I just hope they can farm down to 20% in Kenya and reduce the debt down to say $2b before any bid. Think we would be at £5 a share then. The chart is horrible though. | mariopeter

10/2/2017 07:58 | There’s an oil boom right now. Worldwide demand demand for fuel is the highest it has been in eight years and it’s not showing any signs of stopping. The United States Department of Energy predicts that 2017 will show record demand from Americans, as miles driven increase and car sales skyrocket to all-time highs — just as they did in 2015 and 2016 | robo175

10/2/2017 07:39 | The company has been massively shorted because of the debt and capex going forward. The farm out has reduced potential capex significantly and with increased production and a higher oil price free cash can be used to reduce debt and force the shorts to close. Just a matter of time. Tullow Oil’s plan This week’s results from Tullow Oil show it has a clear path to deleveraging its balance sheet. It has pivoted towards oil production and the completion of TEN in Ghana means its production will rise significantly this year. The effect of this on its free cash flow has already been dramatic, with positive free cash flow reported in Q4 2016. A reduction in capex should also help free cash flow in 2017, with the company set to use its free cash flow to primarily reduce debt. | midasx
10/2/2017 04:43 | This mentions that payment of a dividend is likely some way off... but IF a dividend were to be proposed it might force some of the short holders to reassess their position. | steve73
09/2/2017 18:23 | Company is on difficult ground with Kenya Authorities now looking with external Audit into their promoted Cost Recovery claims. Would promote when operational costs Drilling etc are examined against other current operator cost standards, some very difficult questions will be asked. | onewhoknows
