04/1/2001 07:07 | Yawn.. time to get some sleep! | dymaxion
04/1/2001 06:23 | Gets the adrenalin going all right. Could someone please tell me the previous normal range for bsm and also for tad. snip | snip
04/1/2001 03:46 | Up a bit early for the opening, aren't we? Have a good day. :-) cheers, anthonyjb | forsaken
04/1/2001 03:44 | Nas up 14%, Dow up 2.8% !! Shame I closed that long on the nas :-( Well, may all your shorts be covered while your longs get longer! Here's to a blue day, dymaxion | dymaxion
23/8/2000 13:30 | Short of BHM.... | adamh
23/8/2000 13:20 | I've been long on BOOT for a while and it's starting to look interesting again - new high for the day and a good buy:sell volume ratio. Thor What's the betting it'll reverse as soon as I hit the post button :-) | thor
22/8/2000 10:49 | Kayak, That'll be me slow off the mark as usual then! Thanks for the info. Zak. | zakalwe
22/8/2000 10:23 | AHA! Herzog have been taken over by Mssrs. Merryl and Lynch and should disappear fairly soon. Not only but also...HSO, being an AIM stock, it is just part of the trading mechanism for there to be an order book should there be any need. Just letting my ignorance show, obviously. Above information from my broker which shows, contrary to popular opinion, they are good for something then! Yours with the sun shining, Zak. | zakalwe
22/8/2000 10:09 | Skinny, I believe so, but they've got their minds on other things at the moment :-) | kayak
22/8/2000 10:06 | Kayak, are ADVFN aware of this 'feature'? | skinny
22/8/2000 10:03 | AIM stocks (such as HSO) are on SEATS which has a bulletin board-type facility that brokers can use to advertise orders to other brokers or MMs (particularly large ones) as well as the normal dissemination of MM quotes. You're probably looking at Proquote which carries these. ADVFN doesn't. HHGI seems to be closed today on most stocks and there is a bug in ADVFN which doesn't mark the quotes as closed and instead uses them for the calculation of the spread. | kayak
22/8/2000 10:00 | It's all as clear as mud to me - looking forward to the seminar next week :-) | skinny
22/8/2000 09:36 | Same with HHGI on the Ind.Energy Holding (IEH) level 2 screen. Showing its spread from 15:30, presumably yesterday. I was just about to phone my broker to buy from them and sell straight away to the highest bid when I noticed the time. | rivets
22/8/2000 09:24 | HHGI = Herzog Heine Geduld Intl and they have a similar situation on Hansom Group (HSO). Also, while we are on the subject of HSO what's going on there then? Why is there an 'orderbook' with what looks like an MM sell order in it underneath the other MM quotes? Yours back in the dark, Zak. | zakalwe
22/8/2000 08:53 | Skinny, Ah yes, well spotted, thanks. RTFS springs to mind :-) Still a bit odd though, maybe they've just pulled out of the game for a while? Don't want to play. Yours in the shade, Zak. | zakalwe
22/8/2000 08:21 | Zakalwe, its not red on my screen, but isn't the quote from yesterday @16:03? | skinny
22/8/2000 08:12 | Level 2 for Northgate (NIS) has a curious MM HHGI who, on my screen, is quoted in red, still happy to be 50x50 but instead of 65 - 68 or whatever they have 60 c 71 and are by far the most outside the consensus bid/offer. I'm fairly sure it's not just a screen glitch and would be gald of enlightenment if anybody can tell what's it all about eh, Alfie? Yours in the dark, Zak. | zakalwe
21/8/2000 23:14 | Long Alliance & Leicester (AL.). Order book looks strong around 540/542 with enough volume to eclipse the sells. In for the time being [Ed.] though overall volume is distinctly light.. Yours with Sprockett & Sylvester, Zak. | zakalwe
21/8/2000 16:13 | Neil, Sorry, robber, been downstairs watching Bloomberg for the market round-up. Anyway, consider it done. Having a spot of bother with the Hotmail account I think so let me know if you don't receive anything. I trust you're a more reliable correspondent than that Scottish chap. :-) Shields up... Zak. | zakalwe
21/8/2000 15:11 | Zakalwe, I have mail for you, mail me at (edited) and I will get back to you tonight. Neil | robber
21/8/2000 14:11 | Err, no sorry, must be buried under a pile from someone called Limpsfield Chartist, off to have look, regards,A. | aquila
21/8/2000 14:04 | LJ, :-) Watching VOD myself, had them in me book last night for a bounce of 264-ish but I was watching others first thing so missed that, still, looking good currently. Aquiwotsgoingonthen, Sent you a mail about a week or so back to your netscape account, did you no get it? Yours with McWomble, Zak. | zakalwe
21/8/2000 13:44 | Short BHM (again) | gausie
21/8/2000 13:43 | Zakalwewhatyoumeanno Long DGE.... | aquila
