Agreed - mind made up, I'll hold and take up the rights. Thanks and good luck !

I've been through a few rights issues on AIM over the years. I don't think it'll be the same here. With TUI it's all about covid and the recovery story, not mismanagement leading the company to ruin (as it typically is on AIM shares). Therefore the rights issue should be a great opportunity but it's up to you.

Inclined to agree with you - thanks - just concerned gains will be halved after RI, wondering aloud whether best to sell now and buy back in after dilution. Agree with you on pent up demand for flying and holidays for sure ??

Chap, it's only just begun so I wouldn't sell. TUI was increasing in value before covid anyway, 2019. That, and once confidence returns, I can see them having the best few years on record with all the pent up demand. Set to make serious money on this and the airlines for at least 18 months.

I'm 50% up on my TUI stocks right now - should I sell or take up the rights ? Anyone in similar position ? Thoughts ?

A nice rise this morning which is welcomed.
Lots of steam left in this.

Everyone will want a holiday after this years fiasco.
TUI will benefit from massive global demand and I foresee a recovery of epic proportions here.

TUI has done better than I expected and helped by recovery in US markets . looking a bit exhausted after such a big recovery but US futures holding it up .

exactly stoxx67 and the intra day chart told me to go long today when TUI was oversold as were other stocks . I closed out a bit early as i sometimes do but a quite nice profit. I wonder if " news and sentiment" helped hotfinance todsy when deciding if a trade was on . ( smile )

how do you think traders on FX markets make money?

simply and absolutely Technical Analysis, we trade levels and setups.

have a look at a Point & Figure chart of GOLD and then tell me you think TA is meaningless, its only meaningless to the uneducated.

if you believe it is news and sentiment ONLY that drives an asset price, then don't go near financial markets fella, stick to red or black.

some recovery from early low but chart shows a clear downtrend and it is likely to be shorted again if it gets to 410 level .

This situation is going to sadly wipe TUI out if government don't stop the Press freedom' in their irresponsible money driven creation of so called news. We've got rid of Kay Birley . Few more heads need to roll

Why was you saying.. Grammatically incorrect old chap. Because Easy are better managed more influence, better position internationally, clear and defined strategies.. unlike TUI ran by ignorant, arrogant largely German board who are about as flexible as a wrought iron ingot .. Apart from that my friend " That woz why I woz sayin it" to use your parlance ....Apples and pears . Everyone has an opinion that's mine .
