13/7/2020 17:28 | Croots - I can guess you've not has to try and get a refund from Tui over the past 4 months. They shut the branches and stopped answering the phone , it takes perseverance to get your money back, and I reckon Doris is right, some will have waited till the shop reopened. | ian davenport
13/7/2020 16:52 | Doris, I know what you mean right. All those McDonald's drive thru queues are just people going back to get their money back from a missing item on their last order. | thecroots
13/7/2020 09:53 | Greg - big queues at travel agents means: 1. Booking holidays 2. Frustrated customers trying to speak to someone in order to amend holiday, get refunds etc. I personally think it’s unlikely to be #1. | doris18

04/7/2020 13:02 | Q. Do you work for the TUI management? If not, you should be on the Board of Directors. A tip: Cash is King with this Coronavirus pandemic.... Did you see the RNS about the massive Boeing Cash payout to TUI? | olivert
03/7/2020 21:33 | 1. Going forward - When their B737Max's re-enter service again, what about the associated disruption that TUI will be caused by these aircraft constantly going AOG because how the aircraft's electrics have been so degraded due to the grounding of the said aircraft. This could cost as much as $500k to $1mln per aircraft in the first year of return to service of these aircraft. 2. If I was in TUI's shoes I would make it very clear to Boeing that I will not be taking any of the c440 aircraft that Boeing have built and have been sitting around for a year waiting to be delivered. Any new aircraft TUI takes must have come off the production line with in no more then the past 2 months before the delivery to TUI. | loganair
03/7/2020 21:09 | TUI got a massive payout in the last two weeks from Boeing for non-delivery of the 737 Max. This included all the associated disruption and delays which impacted the TUI operations... | olivert |
