Elective ops is the area where TLY is a specialists and, with their insourcing division, are helping the NHS reduce the high waiting list.
TLY's insourcing division is growing strongly as can be seen from their recent TU.

NHS sources quoted recently in the Press(1) state the total numbers of people waiting for examinations in ENT is circa 366,000; ophthalmology 494,000; urology 270,000; cardiology 194,000, and gynaecology 265,000. These departments account for most of our medical device disinfectant product sales, and they also represent the highest patient waiting numbers in UK hospitals outside of orthopaedics, trauma, and general surgery. We understand that the NHS is making available a GBP1.5bn(2) Elective Recovery Fund to accelerate the restoration of services and treatment for as many people as possible."

If you historically analyse price action versus valuation across many years and markets it has been shown many times that current valuation is a very poor indicator of where price is going.

Valuation.....very high rating possibly justified by past performance but no longer following today's TU.....IMO

May be tempted to get back in at £5.......

It's trading in a perfectly normal range still and despite some short term weakness the outlook seems fine. No doubt we get a string of people plucking lower number targets out of thin air and with weak hands will run for the exits as its always the way.Don't get me wrong I have an exit point where I'd conclude I'm wrong but it's nowhere close to the current price

A return to pre-covid prices or worse could be on the cards here. Large scale benefits from surface cleaning haven't happened and device cleaning has been impacted by almost complete shutdown of non covid hospital visits. I might buy back on a return to last year's prices although the company's generous issue of options is still an issue for me.

I thought I would post the recent TU from Byotrol and link to an outstanding interview that aired late Friday.

Already a Tristel partner but on a rating of about 1/3 of Tristel, so happy to buy lots there and keep my holding here.

"We've had an extraordinary year, are pleased with the performance so far and are very excited about what's to happen in the future for us" said David Traynor.

"Turnover has pretty much doubled in 12 months to over £11 million, and EBITDA was up by 6.5 times [to £1.7M], that's a pretty good performance by any measure. And we have no debt, we paid off all our debt over the year, financially we are very very strong and we are looking for growth going forwards" explained David.

Next year: "I would expect to put out more information on product launches across B2B and B2C, I would expect to be announcing more licences and alliances as we have done before, with more focus on three areas:
1. new products and ingredients for the professional market, sometimes to create a gap in their portfolio which we spot for them
2. More direct to consumer work - we did 20% of our work direct to retailers and retailers as partners, and I think we can do better than that
3 Third area is licences and alliances across those two areas."

Thanks Piedro for the background research. Looks a fairly decent collaboration which isn't priced in yet to the share price I would only be worried if there was a runaway metro train or a collapsing building which would detract Parker Laboratory from focusing on the job in hand. If I am totally honest as an investor the fact that he has ignored wealth and fame and looks to action as a reward is a poor outlook but could be raised at the AGM.

I note for balance as investors have often been critical of Paul Swinney and his remuneration he did in fairness take a hit of £60.18 when he Bed and Isa'd his shares in the open market last week.
