14/7/2020 15:52 | Whichever way you look at it all those delayed operations are not going to go away, unless the patients died because they couldn't get seen or didn't need them in the first place. My wife works in a Private Hospital (that is a big user of Tristel for all sorts of cleaning) and there is a lot of pent up demand for investigations/treat Been a holder here from the 25p days, did sell quite a lot over £5 but have been buying back on the way down - started too early but hey ho, can't get it right all the time. | q2u
14/7/2020 14:12 | Yes but the overseas sales are of the same product so will be effected the same listen I like this company it’s been a tremendous investment and will carry onto be but these results are going to have a negative impact from the lack of ENAT department sales world wide. Will the extra income from c19make up The difference going forward probably yes but it will not of happened instantly. But what I would say if we do get a sharp retrace on disappointing numbers it’s only short term and will open up a great buying opportunity for the long term holders | best1467
14/7/2020 10:08 | Apologies, but I can't see a 'massive' hit here. From my recollection of the 24/02 results, the UK human health contribution although sizeable, was only 37% of total sales (5.48m to 14.63m total),Overseas sales were growing very well. They also highlighted in these results that two thirds of UK hospital sales can be attributed to higher numbers of disenfection procedures, across all clinical areas. Personally, I can only see significant increased demand since the 24/02, but I could be wrong, but take your point that parts of UK hospitals have not been functional. One thing also to bear in mind is that they have now completed the second UK warehouse, which can only greatly help in the supply chain. Good luck to you all with your investments. TT | tonytyke
14/7/2020 07:27 | It’s blatantly obvious that they will have taken a massive hit on the cancellation Of ENAT procedures it’s a department of the NHS that’s been Virtually closed for three months but as this been offset by Covid impact possibly but not guaranteed remember vast majority revenue is from this sector. I’ve been invested here from 30p and have no intention to sell and in the years ahead still see massive growth potential but would not rule out a short term hit. | best1467
13/7/2020 18:07 | Well done at £4 Apad! I don’t buy the argument that lack of clinical procedures will offset any covid positive impact. SN. Hasn’t suffered, the market will be forward looking. I am still buying. | rimau1
10/7/2020 21:43 | I seem to have been buying them all the way down 😊 At least i got some at 400p today. Keep that chart polished bamboo2 apad | apad

09/7/2020 19:07 | I have been topping up materially of late. TSTL has never been really cheap and I first invested relatively late in September 2005, having tracked it for just over 12 months. I should have got in much earlier. I take the view that TSTL is still at an early stage in its journey. The UK NHS market is obviously very important, but TSTL now sells most of its product outside the UK. It has lots of new markets where it has hardly started - even if you forget the US opportunity (which I don't).China, India and South America and others all spring to mind. I also expect (and hope) that it will get involved in the consumer market, most probably with a major partner in order to deliver at scale. The COVID virus has boosted the share price, but much less than some other COVID related stocks. To me, it is blindingly obvious that products that zap the ever increasing bugs that we are having to confront will be in demand. Other virus strains will doubtless appear over the next few months and years. This is an obvious roll out. | james188
09/7/2020 16:23 | I think Tristel are a great company, but today's news that planned operations dropped by 80% in May must mean a significant hit to Tristel's income. They will make some of that back in increases in general cleaning products, but for now I'm out. | rob_evans
09/7/2020 10:10 | I think price wants to test the rns related breakaway gap [23/3/2020] again. The gap is a potential support zone, and a successful retest would be very positive from a charting pov. Gap measures 385-395. Breakaway gaps often remain unfilled. There are a number of trendline apex based potential turns on the chart centered around today. Have also been buying. | bamboo2
09/7/2020 09:40 | I've been doing exactly the same rimau1. However, I do think it is still pretty well priced. 7 years revenue to buy the company. Still, if we get the growth we both expect and margins are maintained, that will look like a bargain. Good luck. apad | apad
09/7/2020 09:17 | I think 4 might be the floor? I have been adding all the way down from £4.70, i just can’t see how the update won’t be strong appreciating that this is priced for perfection. Uk manufacturing so no supply constraints and the new normal is clean clean clean. Apart from a premium rating what is not to like? | rimau1
07/7/2020 17:05 | Same for me, but it was a struggle to buy very much. It took me seven attempts to get what I wanted. I guess that Soler is still selling, but I did not expect to be able to pick up more stock at this price. | james188
07/7/2020 16:48 | Agree with the last 2 posts and I have been topping up today on the dip. | tonytyke
03/7/2020 21:33 | Ok, yes, my guess is that they will be cleaning everything in sight for a long time. | 11_percent
03/7/2020 14:53 | FWIW I have taken the stock overhang as an increase opportunity. First purchase Sept. 2014. I'm assuming a change in their customers priorities that is permanent, rather than a Covid fillip. apad | apad

03/7/2020 10:12 | Soler the seller. "It looks like Singers have been doing the majority of the business in TSTL having traded more than double what Shore Capital or Winterfloods have. Perhaps the MMs could have mopped them up, what is more likely is that they had an order working for a client of their own. So they may not have had a position themselves but rather would be using any buying from you to be filling a clients sell order on their side. That seller may or may not have reloaded the order but it seems well offered again today but no one sticking out, everyone is showing good in at least 10k shares." apad | apad
03/7/2020 10:05 | SP a bit weak...….my guess is that this was seen as another CV-19 coronavirus bingo stock. The fad for coronavirus shares has passed and the peeps who bought are selling. Having said that......there is also a seller....too many round number trades. | 11_percent
