Spell, I agree if there is to be a takeover bid now is the time. Given the amount of grey hairs this share has left me with, over many years, I would be very tempted to accept an offer for my holding in excess of 20p. I would not be surprised if many others are of a similar view, I note TXP marches on today.

Good timing Astro, let’s hope this is the run that rewards the long term holders.

astorcourt, we all need a little gamble sometimes! £35m market cap is ridiculous though.

Certainly true Spell, the managements inability to generate interest and a strong investor base has led to a very vulnerable share price in TRIN, crikey I would buy the whole of TRRIN at this price. In this low yield climate the yield Bruce is getting with his salary and bonuses is attractive enough to me.... That ignores the further £ms of cash building potential.

Happy to have built my biggest holding yet because one way or another the market will force value. My view is Cairn would be a better buyer of TRIN if an outright sale is done, it gives them a very meaningful foothold in the now much more attractive T&T jurisdiction.

mark if txp were to take out TRIN nows the time, with all the potential coming, all the cash, SCADA info, 2d and 3D Sesmic data, further Heritage partnership, jv with Cairn, there’s a lot in the pot to be had

Spell, although it looks a way off I am pretty sure the TRIN team intend/hope to take our MCAP towards TXP’s which currently is £230m! I don’t believe with the share holdings the management and directors have they would sell while this potential is not realised.

Yes PA it has been on the radar for most of this year as it always looked TXP were better off focusing on Ortoire. As a liability let’s hope it comes with an attractive price tag.

If Txp were to takeout TRIN the Trin team and technology could look after the oil, assets and use the growing TRIN cash

This has been covered before.
I for one have (some time ago) looked at TXP's onshore assets and their proximity to TRIN's assets.
Today's announcement makes a sale to TRIN more likely and the recent results from TXP looked (to me) that they were hanging a sign out.
TXP have neglected their onshore oil licenses and may even have a drilling commitment that they may have to fulfil to keep them.

Spell TXP have enough on their plate to contemplate buying TRIN, although I could always see TXP selling their oil assets to become apure gas and raise the development capital needed. Bruce has alway said they will only buy a new asset if the price is right as TRIN also have plenty to get on with.

TXP doing very well again with their latest drill, let’s hope the TRIN team is scouring their acreage for similar deep targets, adding gas to the portfolio would be a great addition as TXPs 10x share price move over the last year shows. I sold some TRIN at 13p this time year to buy TXP at 13p (for a long while TXP and TRINs share price was within a couple of pence of each other) after their first positive drill results. Well done to TXP for a fantastic year. The fact TRIN is now sub 13p, yet have more money in the bank account, a higher production, no SPT and drawing in partners such as Cairn is an anomaly the market can’t for much longer. Hopefully this will become a new golden age in T&T.

15 full working days until Christmas, with the summer update pointing to news on multiple fronts in Q4, things could finally be about to get interesting here. With SPT reform in place there is nothing in the way of Bruce and team delivering the potential we all know TRIN is sitting on.

I think that investors here have gone to sleep but lucky for them the management haven't.

With a market cap of c. $46m we are told that the year end cash will be c.$20m
Many people may think it should be more (oil price, break even etc)but we are told that there has been investments made in H2/Q4 and by my calculation about $5m will have been spent.
Best guess for this expenditure is SCADA, 3D data, analysis of 3D data and moving TGAL along......busy guys....not bad for a "lifestyle company".

Now the "gone to sleep" bit....if I take out the $20m cash we get an EV of c. $25m.

The current oil price is $45 so lets make a reasonable assumption that the average for 2021 is $45
(a guess but not that wild or unreasonable)

At $45 I calculate that TRIN can make $9/$10 a barrel so with even the smallest drilling /development expenditure a production of 3200 bpd could be maintained or $10m/£11m profit/cash in 2021.

Now lots and lots of other value enhancing deals/developments are being ignored here but the base line is that we have a business valued (ex cash) at $26m that with oil at $45 could make $10m

Yes guys. Absolutely.
My post was more a remark on the vacuousness of the market and low-volume sensitivity.
Everything is absolutely perfectly set in place now. We may have one helluva 2021 economic rebound which will flatten in 2022 according to analysts but it is very very likely to get half way up Everest.
For a little company Trinity now have everything in place to scale up.
My post was partly to break the ice. And to present the facts that-fickle market or not-Trin is raking in the cash and scaling up on and then offshore with no SPT.
I think end of 10 days of vaccine exuberance and Thanksgiving may have just subdued the last 2 days.
( Not looking forward to US case numbers in 2 weeks though !! (They have screwed up there more than even Boris although our proportional death rate is the worst in the world-utter scandal in a 1st world country) Gone off track. Oh well
Have good weekend !!!

Nocents, it was just a nice little back test of 9p, sets us up nicely for next week. May be the last week in the 9s. It was still 9.15p to buy and that was limited in size.

$45.7 WTI
And Trin drops on a couple of sales(?!)
Serious cash being made Q4.
Awaiting news re. Joint Expression of Interest with Cairn on Jubilee Field.
Drilling to commence Q1 2021
Amazing that Trin is back at 8.8p really. There is no longer the shadow of SPT. Even if it just stayed onshore the share price is worth twice this right now. Cenkos have it at 35p without(!) offshore Tgal assets. 8.8p silly price.
Casino superficial AIM index. Does not work on value. Coiled spring when news arrives though.
