It’s some kind of transfer. But buy-sell are involved.

15m trades going through is not something you see every day, I wonder what the story is behind it. Explains the last few weeks.

It's a share discussion forum.

Personally for me posting views on a share I don't hold helps me to clarify my own thought processes and reiterate to myself why I consider that particular equity to be one to avoid. It really helps.

Not an old chestnut. That devalues the truth in it. Why post on a chatsite where you don’t hold shares nor intend to??

A big trade is being processed and I think that has robber of of at least a 7p differential from here, but we have seen time and time again once the trade goes through it moves very quickly to catch up. Happy to wait for things to pan out, if the Saudis are in the driving seat and $70 + WTI comes back into play things should be much better.

not that old chestnut again.

and why is there a seller. because there aren't any buyers as the market can't see any FCF.

and one off costs are called 'capex' by many!

It’s only because there is a seller. If you don’t like it then sell. And if you don’t hold shares there is no point being here.

Must be the only crude producer that hasn't bounced today.

That tells you what the market is thinking even if YOU are in denial.

Nocents: In my comment predecessor refers to Heritage not Trinity. Not clear I agree.

All I meant to say was, given the profitability of heritage disclosed in the article, any residual doubt over the collectability of the amounts outstanding from Heritage/Petrotrin seems to have been removed.

Wish I'd never started!

You seem to be confused. Heritage is not predecessor to Trinity(?)
Where has that come from?
Petrotrin was a totally separate govt. run company which was partially restructured and given over to Heritage. It’s quite complex.
Legacy debt has nothing to do with Trin. It’s Petrotrin’s left-over.
Trin has only ever been Trinity E and P since 2013. It had to sell onshore oil through Petrotrin ...that was the only link.
If you want to invest here I advise you to get the basics right. Read about the company on its website.
Www.trinityexplorationand production.com
It has no debt. And no “ legacy debt”
