01/8/2017 10:40 | I think we will keep finding buyers down here, if it is inexperience minor shorters at it again this could be an interesting week for them. Like I have always said it does not need many well timed trades to knock the bid. However if oil gets another good draw down tomorrow things could move very rapidly here. | mark10101
01/8/2017 10:38 | It's been going on for a long time.... I would be surprised if a tr1 comes out soon. | aimmafia
01/8/2017 10:37 | A long list of price monitoring extensions RNS's nd one wonders what they are monitoring | marvelman
01/8/2017 10:33 | It seems that whenever the bid get to or around 11p it invites a decent sized sell such as the 100k just which has knocked the price for six again | marvelman
01/8/2017 10:31 | Rise to 13p has probably tempted someone to sell. Whenever the bid is above 11p someone is hitting it with lumps of 50k or so. | phowdo
01/8/2017 10:27 | Just taken £9k can't stay down here for much longer..... this is a steal! | aimmafia
01/8/2017 10:17 | Also oil looks to have broken the current down trend, I am still hopeful fo an upside surprise there. | mark10101
01/8/2017 10:01 | If this market is mad enough to offer 8p again I will be adding as finally have some funds. 20p + in the next few months is more likely than 8p imho despite what the MM are up to ATM. | mark10101
01/8/2017 09:56 | A 7 day run in oil increases TRINs profits, the fundamentals are what interests me here, whatever give you any idea that I care what other shareholders are doing?I'm in accumulate mode mate, as long as the business outlook continues to improve :-) | che7win
01/8/2017 09:52 | after a 7 day straight run in oil,a pullback should be coming soon ...which could bring on the 8s....gl | runwaypaul
01/8/2017 09:48 | 3v1 and nothing | aimmafia
01/8/2017 09:24 | Bid up at 11. It appears the gap is still being filled between 11 and 13 | aimmafia
01/8/2017 09:20 | Yet another very odd day of trading in the world of TRIN, all action around 11.5p yet bid is at 10.5p allegedly. How many sellers can be left? | mark10101
01/8/2017 09:15 | Shrewdy I know you are convinced there is a buyer of note at this time but surely the spread is saying the MM's don't want your shares? | marvelman
01/8/2017 07:38 | Next update 'soon', whatever that means but will be a pre-Interims trading statement rather just a confirmation of Q2 production figures which we really got at the AGM. (Comment from other board). If oil price can hang around $51 that is probably the sweet spot for not paying SPT tax. We can also expect that the tax regime in Trinidad is altered so that new production investment is encouraged. | esmerelda
31/7/2017 20:22 | If anyone genuingly made the decision to sell today I think they will be regretting it tomorrow. WTI over $50. | mark10101
31/7/2017 19:59 | Referencing 2981. I am inclined to agree with SM. The price action may not suggest a bid is in the offing, but, one cannot rule out a potential bid here given the asset base, tax profile of the company and the cash being generated. The latter is set to improve as output increases. What is probably holding this back is the legacy issues - the fact that it nearly went bust, had to be recapitalised and that is to some extent tarnishing the strides since made, but the next update should palliate some of these concerns and demonstrate that despite a very conservative approach this year the Board has made considerable headway and that the valuation has to catch u to reflect that. This has already been a stellar performer for me, but the big gains in smallcaps are made by running the winners. | yasx
31/7/2017 16:08 | SM I agree, does not feel right ATM, hopefully not being positioned for cheap buyout. I will sit and see how the next 6 months pans out. | mark10101
31/7/2017 16:05 | We know this but the equity price is telling a different story . We are all assuming workovers are going well and the legacy of neglected wells are being cleaned up. However is it producing the desired results. Time will tell of course. The trouble mainly is that the small cap oiler sector is in the doldrums generally, no matter how much cash some are making. That won't last forever and whilst things are disliked its the time to buy. I,ve topped up here and SQZ lately waiting for better times which should arrive. I think we don't have many more weeks to wait..... imho | pineapple1
31/7/2017 15:57 | Pineapple We are undervalued on every metric. Production Reserves Profit The banked tax benefits. All Dingwall is doing is putting the hard work in and nothing risky do trying to grow daily revenue and profit. Someone definitely has a taste for Trin. The numbers don't lie. S | shrewdmole
31/7/2017 15:53 | Is there much bidding activity though. I don't think so.Not seen a great deal but its always possible of course. CEO's always seem to be on the hunt for aquisitions at the top of the cycle when assetts are expensive rather than when things are dirt cheap towards the lower end. imho | pineapple1
31/7/2017 15:32 | Guys this isn't been driven by us pi's. Bigger forces at work here. Projected profits of circa $20m ish at 50 dollar poo and the debt is being paid down all the time and the corporate tax breaks. The tax breaks alone are valuable to a predator. Seen it here in uk. Could be very interesting how this plays out, as I suspect the company will want to put out a very upbeat statement to try and block a bid. S | shrewdmole |
