Bigtune - you have my apology. My youngest son and I both suffer with dyslexia. It hasn't stopped me having a 35 year career in the City of London and I hope it doesn't stop my son from fulfilling his dreams.
I am not sure my personal wealth is any business of yours but I am comfortably in the top 5 % of residents in this country so I think we will just leave it at that.

Husted, Ok, I agree with that.I expected these to rise to 18p on yesterday's release, I guess some people don't get past the first paragraph.Quite happy to have bought more today.

No. what Im saying is the opposite. If you mechanically trade then you lose.

What I said is people are automatically selling on news without reason. Trinity share price hasn't had a run up recently.

Sometimes you can buy in for the dividend and 'get it for free', sometimes you can buy cheap after ex-div day.

It's about using your judgement and looking at fundamentals or chart if you are trading. But I don't see any short term or long term reason to sell.

Hustled, seems a mechanical approach, but each stock is different. As example, I loaded up in OSB after an accelerated bookbuild at 6.5% discount to market price dropped the share price on the week it was going exdividend. It was a gift, got 7.5p dividend plus share price bounced from the 395p level up to 410-415p+ in a couple of weeks, easy money. This price here is a gift, the support is slowly rising each time, it started at 12.5p, but support level keeps rising.Higher lows but also lower highs which I expect to be smashed soon once the market digests the opportunity here.

Busted, my fall back/safety net here is a take over, it will have to be over 20p if it comes, however I hope that is not the route we go.

I usually just sell on news when the share price has had a good run. Sometimes the share price will fall by more than the dividend on ex-div day when its had a good run, so sell before the news is the idea. But I don't think share price has has good run (is overbought).

SP is very undervalued. If they don't get the share price up, trinity is vulnerable to a cheap takeover imo.

I will take a wild guess to say

Punters are selling. Maybe I could be wrong.

1/3rd market cap in cash, throwing off cash month after month.Production rising this year, margins well up from ~39 dollars to ~50 dollars against fixed ~30 dollar costs.33% margin up to 70% margins, double profits, these look mispriced so who is selling?

John Henry, is shareholding really your thing? You only appear when complaining about down moves. It's the same on another thread of a share I hold, VRS. Why the negativity when you hold? Genuine question.
