04/12/2020 10:36 | For the record, Parity has net cash before leases - I hold both. | weatherman
04/12/2020 10:12 | Bredainvesta: They all happened at 8:32:08 (all within same second) and all for prices from about £1 to £10... What a weird event in the annuals of investing.... Certainly looks like someone was trying to sell something this morning but accidently put the wrong ticket symbol it... I cant see any other explanation. | netcurtains
04/12/2020 10:12 | I was worried it was to do with that bankrupt lady. | brendainvesta
04/12/2020 09:54 | lol - they all seem to be for a penny... Do you think its a typo? | netcurtains
04/12/2020 09:13 | 60 off book sells this morning? | brendainvesta
04/12/2020 09:00 | If you look at another small cap software house - Parity [PTY] Its more than doubled its price from its yearly low. It now has a market cap of £9m For Triad to just reach the point Parity has got to in the business cycle Triad would need to be trading at around 45p. Triad, I think has better prospects then Parity in that it has big cash pile, no debts and moving FAST towards a model that relies on permanent employees rather than over expensive and unreliable contractors. | netcurtains
03/12/2020 15:28 | We've had the great Half Year report and even greater Outlook statement for 2021. So what is the next potential leg up for Triad? Well around Christmas you often get lots of top ten share tips for Christmas. A lot of these tips include smaller companies.... So its quite possible, over the next few weeks we'll see Triad in one or two of these "Share picks for 2021".... | netcurtains
03/12/2020 12:59 | Yes, they sold shares last week at a higher price. Hence the sells just fill those trades. The MM are now only offering 38P, not 38.55p to sell, and if more sells show, they will slam the price down. It’s just how markets work. | sunshine today
03/12/2020 12:42 | Loads of sells for 2 days but the share price isn’t moving, anyone have any ideas? | brendainvesta
03/12/2020 09:35 | Yep Belfry17 that is true..... Be great if the new Director bought some now though. I know the "owners" of the company have bought in high 30s at the beginning of the year when the new permanent strategy started. So, at a guess, I think they are hoping for at least 60p a share sometime within 2022..... and possibly high 40s to 50p by January. | netcurtains
03/12/2020 09:31 | It is comforting that shares like this exist when you see the constant placings etc in other shares. | belfry17
03/12/2020 09:19 | LOL - it happens to lots of posters on ADVFN. Talking to the others it appears that its to do with BREXIT. If you are/were a STRONG advocate of REMAIN (rejoin now) some nutter marks us down. On the plus side the mark down means he (or she) even though they are a bit nutty is reading all my posts! Thats more than I do myself! Cheers Net | netcurtains
03/12/2020 09:04 | Net every time you post something here, it doesn’t matter what it says, someone gives it a thumbs down straight away. Are you making friends? | brendainvesta
02/12/2020 16:55 | My favourite part is “ strong cash collection processes “ Makes my laugh every time I read it. I can image a room in the office full of cash. | brendainvesta
02/12/2020 12:10 | The point I'm making is saying "multiple resources" instead of "resources" sort of double underlines the point.. | netcurtains
02/12/2020 12:09 | This is the intriguing part of the outlook statement that caught my eye: Consultant headcount continues to increase at another central government client, with the recent intention to award a contract to supply multiple resources. "Intention to award a contract" So implies contract not yet signed off yet but company optimistic enough to mention it in the statement. Anyone know a bit more about this 'central government client'? I wonder if its a "big one"? | netcurtains
02/12/2020 09:43 | That is not always the case Bredainvesta. Sometimes the market runs with the share. Look at 2016 - Triad just went up and up - I remember it well. Peaked at Christmas that year. Remember we made £1m in 2016-2017 but I dont think Triad had the big cash pile then. That has taken time to build. So if Triad make £1m now the share price should be better than 2016 because its also backed by a pile of cash. | netcurtains
02/12/2020 09:36 | It only seems to move on the results, but it moves a lot at these times. If the divi returns after Covid then it is a cheap way of getting a large number of divi producing shares so maybe we’ll see a two stage hike, before and after results in future. They are clearly up to something with all the new board appointments. Maybe we’ll get some RNS action on new contracts in future? | brendainvesta
02/12/2020 09:29 | Bredainvesta: The £1 is similar to my guess. I think £2 is quite possible too. I'll explain why. There are THREE advantages to permanent staff: 1. They are cheaper than contractors. 2. Permanent staff want to help the company (get promoted) so they often come up with "good idea" and "novel solutions" . 3. Permanent staff are also good at getting new work - doing tendering documents, going to see clients to win orders. So its not just about saving money its also about growing and improving the business. Triad's share price normally is going towards £1 in boom years (See previous share graphs) but these NEW staff might help TRIAD step up to £2..... But lets get to £1 first before we count are chickens. | netcurtains
02/12/2020 09:20 | As you asked my forward price guess would be £1 after next result and closer to £2 in a year. | brendainvesta
02/12/2020 09:20 | Bredainvesta: Well if you hear anything about contract wins do let us know. Cheers Net! | netcurtains
02/12/2020 09:18 | I think my point is valid. There possibly are buys in the background hoovering up the sells as its been all sells this morning and yesterday and price not really moved. Anyway just theorising - I'm sure we'll know soon either way. | netcurtains
02/12/2020 09:18 | Net, most investments are boring, however there always seems to be something going on with this one. I have made and lost money here, but I think Triad offers possibilities that not many other listed companies do. Most of what I know is from these chat rooms. | brendainvesta
02/12/2020 08:20 | Nope - buywell3 - this is a tighyly held stock. Its hard to buy any quantity. And people do want to buy in the 30s for next leg up and dividend. Anyway we will see what we will see. | netcurtains |
