Wednesday 25th is my guess. My other guess is that they have a large demand for their services, are hoping to get another big contract or two from the public sector and are either on track to return to profit or hope to by the full year. Could be completely wrong but I invested because of that and the price being so low with so much cash and no debt.

Yes I noticed that. Poor chap lost £50 or so. I must admit I've often done that. Its better to take a small loss and admit you've made a mistake early rather than hold on hoping. As I said, this probably is a long-ish term punt. I think TRIAD are doing really really well but it might not be in these results, probably the next lot. So dont buy expecting to make money in 10 days - YOU MIGHT - but you MIGHT NOT TOO.

(10 days is a time frame results will probably be in but could be longer or shorter - none of us know)

Another buy this morning pre results. At this rate we could touch 30p by results.

A nice run of buys, a few people are confident of good results. It would be nice to see a few weeks of this.

Yup. That is what it is about - signs that we can get back to profitability and not years of losses.

I don't use charts often and have very limited knowledge but the tide seems to have changed so hopefully we go on a little run prior to the results back into the 30s.

Price now back to October levels.

We used to see this more with shares but I think this is a run into the results so we'll probably see more trades for the next week or two. At least there are more than just the handful of us watching this one.

I think as long as people are not investing for THIS set of results but the NEXT one we should be OK. This is not a pump and dump stock at these silly levels.

Its an invest and hold for reinstatement of dividend and £1m profits again sometime down the line.... Hopefully within 6 months.

Same. I asked the question a while ago about whether they would consider a trading update. They were good at replying (lots just ignore you at other companies) but said they don't do them. Other companies would rns big contracts like the £8.6m and £4m ones they got from the public sector earlier this year.

Softcat plc trading update:
The Company performed well during the Period and delivered year-on-year growth in revenue, gross profit and operating profit while also achieving its recruitment targets. Cash generation has remained in line with normal trends. The Board is pleased with the results to date and notes further positive momentum heading into the second quarter.

I dont think Triad will be in profit but I hope we will be in an upward trend - same as Softcat.

If that happens then this price is very cheap. In my view, the price at the moment reflects another similar year to last, so any reversal is a major positive.

In the results I'm hoping for:
a) break even (or very small loss)
b) perhaps reinstatement of a small dividend
c) a forward statement saying they are doing well (contract wins).

I want the impression from results that they are well on
course to be making £1M+ annual profits again.
