20/11/2020 09:57 | Wednesday 25th is my guess. My other guess is that they have a large demand for their services, are hoping to get another big contract or two from the public sector and are either on track to return to profit or hope to by the full year. Could be completely wrong but I invested because of that and the price being so low with so much cash and no debt. | belfry17
20/11/2020 09:27 | Anyone want to guess most likely day for results? I'm going for Tuesday next week. | netcurtains
19/11/2020 11:51 | Yes I noticed that. Poor chap lost £50 or so. I must admit I've often done that. Its better to take a small loss and admit you've made a mistake early rather than hold on hoping. As I said, this probably is a long-ish term punt. I think TRIAD are doing really really well but it might not be in these results, probably the next lot. So dont buy expecting to make money in 10 days - YOU MIGHT - but you MIGHT NOT TOO. (10 days is a time frame results will probably be in but could be longer or shorter - none of us know) | netcurtains
19/11/2020 11:34 | Someone with a change of heart having bought a day or two ago. Not long until results... | belfry17
19/11/2020 11:00 | Thats torn it! As soon as I open my mouth someone sells £1k worth!!! Oh well. I'll keep quiet for the next week - promise! | netcurtains
19/11/2020 09:07 | Another buy this morning pre results. At this rate we could touch 30p by results. | netcurtains
18/11/2020 13:01 | Yes nice to see buyers. It gives confidence that results will be at least OK. | netcurtains
18/11/2020 11:05 | A nice run of buys, a few people are confident of good results. It would be nice to see a few weeks of this. | brendainvesta
18/11/2020 10:51 | Yup. That is what it is about - signs that we can get back to profitability and not years of losses. | belfry17
18/11/2020 10:39 | Good to see some interest here, let us hope the results provide some nice clarity going into 2021.. | chrisdgb
18/11/2020 09:13 | From last results." The group remains debt-free except for lease liabilities arising due to the application of IFRS 16 and enjoys strong reserves of cash. We will continue to monitor the situation carefully and will take the actions necessary to preserve the health and wellbeing of the organisation, maximise gross profit and drive profitability.Divide | encarter
18/11/2020 08:31 | I don't use charts often and have very limited knowledge but the tide seems to have changed so hopefully we go on a little run prior to the results back into the 30s. | belfry17
18/11/2020 08:21 | Price now back to October levels. Would be good to get back to May/June levels. | netcurtains
17/11/2020 13:03 | We used to see this more with shares but I think this is a run into the results so we'll probably see more trades for the next week or two. At least there are more than just the handful of us watching this one. | belfry17
17/11/2020 12:46 | looks like buyers moving to small caps | netcurtains
17/11/2020 08:24 | I think as long as people are not investing for THIS set of results but the NEXT one we should be OK. This is not a pump and dump stock at these silly levels. Its an invest and hold for reinstatement of dividend and £1m profits again sometime down the line.... Hopefully within 6 months. | netcurtains
17/11/2020 08:21 | Same. I asked the question a while ago about whether they would consider a trading update. They were good at replying (lots just ignore you at other companies) but said they don't do them. Other companies would rns big contracts like the £8.6m and £4m ones they got from the public sector earlier this year. | belfry17
17/11/2020 07:18 | I hate this waiting I wish they would make a few more announcements throughout the year. | brendainvesta
16/11/2020 19:18 | We shall see | pride23s
16/11/2020 13:12 | Almost fell off my chair - the price has gone up. | netcurtains
16/11/2020 10:25 | Strong case to say results will be next week. Softcat up 8% today. Market Cap £2bn | netcurtains
16/11/2020 07:50 | Softcat plc trading update: The Company performed well during the Period and delivered year-on-year growth in revenue, gross profit and operating profit while also achieving its recruitment targets. Cash generation has remained in line with normal trends. The Board is pleased with the results to date and notes further positive momentum heading into the second quarter. I dont think Triad will be in profit but I hope we will be in an upward trend - same as Softcat. | netcurtains
13/11/2020 13:04 | Results (total guess), most likely to be week after next. | netcurtains
11/11/2020 09:49 | If that happens then this price is very cheap. In my view, the price at the moment reflects another similar year to last, so any reversal is a major positive. | belfry17
11/11/2020 09:31 | In the results I'm hoping for: a) break even (or very small loss) b) perhaps reinstatement of a small dividend c) a forward statement saying they are doing well (contract wins). I want the impression from results that they are well on course to be making £1M+ annual profits again. | netcurtains |
