24/10/2020 09:04 | Belfry17: The market is reasonably buoyant. In my area (Java, Java-Script) Jobserve report 1,070 jobs posted in the last 7 days: the very first one (good omen) is a government post : | netcurtains
24/10/2020 08:50 | I spoke to someone who works in IT recently (different area to Triad) but they still said how busy they and their colleagues were as more people are able to work remotely. Hopefully Triad too can enjoy a busy run and get their revenue up. | belfry17
24/10/2020 08:18 | It does look like TRD is attracting the notice of more potential new investors. I think people have done analysis of message counts to share price activity. If message count means anything.... I suspect this might be an interesting November (month of results). I certainly hope so... Some of the reports make interesting reading: | netcurtains
24/10/2020 07:23 | You know you are at the bottom or near when the negative ones come out more. One on lse too. If you want to take the risk and hope that Triad has done well and revenues are increasing again, then this is a very cheap share. If you don't or you don't think the £3.8m in the bank is worth anything against this market cap then it isn't for you either. | belfry17
23/10/2020 21:28 | No. I am just looking to invest. | 1fan
23/10/2020 21:22 | Since you have just been born on advfn 1Fan Member since: 23 Oct 2020 Probably very likely you did | buywell3
23/10/2020 21:16 | I had a look on LinkedIn but there aren't any high numbers of people leaving Triad. They look capable of keeping their staff. Or did I miss anything? | 1fan
23/10/2020 21:12 | Or perhaps some have left to seek work elsewhere KNOS for example | buywell3
23/10/2020 20:50 | They are in the business of change, so why couldn't they change too? It doesn't have to be an official big announcement. Just some more small social media posts about how well they are doing. As they are heavily recruiting there must be some business there that they have won. | 1fan
23/10/2020 19:46 | 1Fan: They dont do announcements. If you dont want in then just sell, I really dont care. There is no secret knowledge - its all on the balance sheet. Take it or leave it. Every single share on the stock market might be over or under valued or valued about right. Its all pretty random. Its at an historical low (taking into account its cash balance), if that is not good enough, then nothing much will change your mind. | netcurtains
23/10/2020 19:33 | It is great to see netcurtains how you support TRD, but is this company really going anywhere? As an investor I am at least in doubt. A positive announcement could make all the difference but it has been very quiet. | 1fan
23/10/2020 10:51 | Agreed - i keep looking online to see if they have won any other public sector contracts as that would really help things. The last results do read positively in terms of trying to pump up revenue with more recruitment. The cash really de-risks it, even though there are risks that revenue might have dropped more. I am looking forward to the results. | belfry17
23/10/2020 10:33 | I bought a few more: 25p to buy seems a good price: Market Cap £4M Cash in bank: £3.8M If company ever makes a profit you're basically getting the shares for free (as cash is more or less equal to market cap) It is expanding (has job vacancies for 9 full time employees) It has won government contracts. It stands a reasonable chance of breaking even or making a small profit this year. Results most likely in NOV.... | netcurtains
23/10/2020 10:23 | The million dollar questions: If TRIAD only broke even this year would that be enough to raise the share price? Suppose it gave a small dividend - would that raise the share price? Suppose it made a small profit this year - would that raise the share price? Suppose it said in results "trading is better than expected" would that raise the share price? Suppose it gave a forward statement saying "we have full order books for 2021" would that raise the share price? | netcurtains
20/10/2020 18:59 | Thanks for the details - I suppose you know a little about the sector then. I am sure I read that they did some disaster planning and worked out that they would be ok for 5 years without external funding. The directors have also been buying at higher levels. I had a look at the other company you named earlier and saw the sizes of contracts they have won from the public sector but then saw the siZe of their market cap as well! | belfry17
20/10/2020 18:40 | In the past they have done everything from Electoral Commission (must admit home page looks a bit like Triad): to CPS: to Department of Transport (emissions) to "Home Office" (which covers a multitude of things). I have no idea if they are back in profit - but if its anywhere near close I would expect some fireworks... I dont think (not certain) that blockchain really is big for Triad.. They do a lot of GIS but I dont know anything about that (I'm a Java java-script developer) | netcurtains
20/10/2020 18:09 | Up to generate profit again. For some reason the app stops me seeing what I am typing after a while so I am typing blindly. | belfry17
20/10/2020 18:08 | Ah, I see - that means a month away or just over. I have tried to find a little more about the agreement re blockchain with Stratis. Have you come across anything? I looked back at old results and nearly have of their income came from public sector work and as much as 28% with one customer in 2018, I think. That was also a large public sector contract. I hope that hiring more staff means lots of work and revenue back | belfry17
20/10/2020 17:09 | Belfry17: The "two": I think they were late last year (waiting for a late contract to come in) so I'm putting my money on NOVEMBER... 2018 27th Nov Tuesday 2017 22nd Nov Wednesday So I'm going for Tuesday 24rd Nov but would not be surprised if week earlier. | netcurtains
20/10/2020 13:09 | Well, they didn't actually say a month or two - they said soon so I looked to see when last year's was. | belfry17
20/10/2020 13:09 | That is promising. I emailed asking if they would do a trading update or if they had ever considered one and they said no and that the results will be our update in a month or two. | belfry17
20/10/2020 12:43 | Trading update from Kainos (AHEAD OF EXPECTATIONS - PUBLIC SECTOR IT) 14th OCTOBER: Kainos Group plc (KNOS), a leading IT provider, operating across two specialist business areas, Digital Services and its Workday Practice, today issues a trading update for the period from 1 April 2020 to date. Driven by the structural shift of digital adoption, ongoing customer demand remains high and this has resulted in a very strong trading performance within the period. We therefore expect results for the full year ending 31 March 2021 to be materially ahead of current consensus of revenue and significantly ahead of adjusted profit forecasts. As referenced in our September update, our Digital Services customers continue to prioritise digital transformation programmes in the NHS and Public Sector, and as a trusted partner to the UK Government, we continue to support these critical, long-term programmes. TRIAD too works in the same area. "A rising tide raises all boats"... Kainos went up about 30% on the news. | netcurtains
19/10/2020 10:40 | Triad are looking to expand their head count quite substantially. There are 9 full time jobs on their job site, all for permanent staff of Triad. I'm not sure but I think their total head count is between 40 to 60 so to expand by 9 is quite a lot (between 15% to 25% increase ). I suspect they are in quite a major expansion phase (this is just a guess by looking at small snippets of contract info and staff recruitment). | netcurtains
15/10/2020 13:26 | Looking back, the next results could be as soon as November (the end of November). If we get a big public sector contract in the short term then this could get really exciting. At the moment, it is very good value but no one knows about it, or wants to knows about it as it seems a bit dull. | belfry17 |
