It is encouraging to see Weiss Asset Managment significantly increasing their stake in TRE from 5 to over 9% during March and early April.

it can stop at 0! i suppose with the collapse in carbon price no suprise this is falling. Yet, i think this one is all about the private equity book now. i will hang on in there on the basis that the independent auditor sees value in those company someway north of share price

Carbon port held at a negative value worries me most. What is generating the "liability" is it short "futures/options"?

Are they harbouring much larger potential or even unlimited liability?

Pleased the company is at least talking about realisation and return of capital theyve just got to get on with it.

i had to glaze over their exorbitant fees in the wind down otherwise i would have got very angry. apart from that, see value here at least as a short term trade given what appears to be the very conservative methodology of valuing both the pe and carbon book.

Cash tender offer or redemption time table would have been more useful and aprropriate than the chair whinging about how complex and time consuming it all is.

Some shareholders have had their money here since the share price was £1 and in some cases nearly £2 per share I bet they arent impresed with the chair's statement.
