All products and services are provided following a sales process. The lead time for that process varies greatly depending on the size of both the product and the customer.

Customers don't come much bigger than the MoD. I cannot imagine for one minute that when dealing with an institution the size of the MoD that a supplier has any idea if, and certainly not when, they will be given the go ahead.

I thought so too. Obviously not. What happened to the closed period when Directors can't buy shares before a contract is announced? This seems like blatent inside trading, on the face of it.

In my view any director buy, at any time, at any company is done with 'insider knowledge'. If a director hasn't got 'insider knowledge' then wtf is he doing there?

From the tender notice link in the RNS it is clear that the £27.8 will be over the 7 year period, 3 year option would bring in additional revenue on top.

yep, I read it as 7 years definite plus 3 years optional ... so BoD are happy as they can remain having suitable income for a while yet .....

... so the contract (albeit over a total duration of 10 years) amounts to more than the market cap of TPG this morning .... not too many companies get that sort of business confirmed in one go .... for once with this stock then I am :-)

... and probably he meant without the engines as well .... periscope would be included on basis of funding grant being available from EU... and crew would be affordable for 24/7 manning providing we saved on fuel for the F-35's by not flying them ....

I share the sentiment, but the people who nominated him for leader thought that and look where it's got them. Even the unlikeliest events sometimes happen - ask any Leicester fan!
