Impressive results for the year which was based on an average of 1,375 bopd and $32m revenue.

Good start to this year with 1st Q.

From my post 1011 on 16th March - "Interesting clue in the Wednesday update which for Q1 2018 saw 1521 bopd for Jan and 1552 bopd for February and 1705 bopd for the preceeding 7 days to 14th March on account of the new production from the latest wells. Imo at least 1625 bopd average for this month of March which may indicate Q1 average production of 1566 for the quarter."

Today they say "resulting in current March field estimated production of 1,654 bbls/d (through March 25, 2018)."

Looks like Q1 on my estimate will be at least 1566 bopd which is almost 15% higher than what the full year results are based on.

9 new additional wells yet to come in this year- 4 of which by end April. With 3 Qs of the year remaining, i can see them pushing $50m revenues/yr soon (circa 2060 bopd/and similar oil price).

SPT - While Touchstone earns less money with an oil price of $50-$60 per barrel than they do at $49.99, on arising trend above $60.01 they earn considerably more.

If like me you believe oil prices will be nearer $80 than $70 by year end, 2018 has the potential to be a transformational year for the company, particularly if SPT gets modified to a sliding scale between say between $50 and $90

Brent Oil price since commencement of 4 well drilling programme in May 2017:

$52 - Q2/2017 Average price
$53 - Q3/2017 Average price
$61 - Q4/2017 Average price
$67 - Q1/2018 Average price
$70 - Current Price


Added further this morning. The commencement of a low cost 10 well development drilling programme could not have been timed better considering the trend in the POO over the last 9 months.
