Yes sleeven, but im actually not nervous for Trin and txp as they have reached a level now were they actually can start to earn some money. If txp indeed hit gas, then the business will be completely different, discounts is coming down rapidly, and production numbers are increasing substantially. With a ridiciously low marketcap, it could really turn out to be a very good investment. If you stick around long enough, you might Even witness the SPT being fased out, which will double share price over night.. Exciting times ahead in T&T and in particular TXP

Indeed, the only winners are the T&T Govt.

SPT is ruination.

SPT offshore for mature marine oilfields is 26.4% ( 33% rate with 20% discount)

Corporate tax is the same, spt is higher for Trin as they also operate offshore. Lets agree to disagree. From now on txp will report in USD and comparisons will be much easier, so looking forward to Q1 :)

You are right that last year we ended 90 cent below trins realised sales price, but as discounts come down netbacks improves quickly. So now we actually get a better price on oil looking forward, a hint from me, you will be surprised to see where discounts is for march ;)

Hi again ross,

Actually i havent, every Thing on My sheet is in USD, and netback for txp is stil 3 USD higher. If you have an e-mail i would glsdly send you the 2 rapports up against each other. With debt, Cash, deferred taxes and so on up against each other

Good day

Tell me where im wrong ross, i often do mistakes, and I will happily accept it if im wrong.. All My assumptions is based on the 2 yearly rapports up against each other, so with the possibility that I might be wrong, I would insist that we have higher netbacks, that we get paid more for our oil, that spt is hurting trin more than txp, that trin hve guided with 10% of growth pr year going forward, and that our netback will be Even better if we had same amount of production as trin. We have debt yes, but trin have a larger market value, trin have like 4 mil more in P2 reserves, and a good amount of money in the bank, but growth wise in 2019 and 2020 they wont stand a chance against txp.

Well best of luck Ross (no sarcasm). I've set up a dummy portfolio just to experiment but, for myself, I know I am better off holding long-term. Though after watching the share price fall 50% without action I wish I could master the art of top-slicing!

I would Mean that txp has a greater risk profile than trinity.

1. We Are paid in brent they are paid in WTI

2. Their spt on some part of the production is 36%

3. Rather stay in a company that are about to do some really exciting exploration, that will keep a solid interest in the company

4. Trinity only aims to expand production with 10% pr year whereas txp is killing it

5. Trinity might have lower production costs, but we have higher netbacks Even when production was 1800 compared to 2800

But will All that said I agree that trinity is also undervalued, but I think txp have more dobling potientiel, Even after the recent move in share price . But GL and see you soon again, gloser to June ;)

@ross would it not be easier (and less stressful) to hold say 50/50 txp/trin if you feel they are both good potentials? Trying to play one off against another has never worked for me for long, hold and hold is surely easier?
