30/1/2020 12:07 | Chesy, Thanks for that helpful update. The fact that GOS Systems has broken through to profit (even a small one) is great news: the target for 2019 was to hopefully break-even - see the helpful report from Singray below. This increases the takeover value of GOS, as companies don't want to buy a liability. And not having to finance GOS losses decreases the need to sell more of ITS's holding in CQCL. So well done and thanks to the people at GOS and Stanhill for doing a great turnaround job here. I'm increasingly confident that we will eventually get some decent value back. Singray105 18 Jan '19 - 16:33 - 8096 of 8275 0 1 0 "Hi guy, yes we went for drinks after the meeting, quite a few of them in fact, one of the GOS people was in there also and was very positive about the future, got home late. Nothing new to report though unfortunately, yes they have been running big losses, expected about £60k loss for 2018, break even 2019 hopefully. Stanhill will continue with their line of credit and CQC shares were sold for working capital, almost impossible to raise funds right now. Some new products, main business remains the police forces, Stanhill remain very positive. No link up, no buyer, no RTO. The quantum Key business seems to be a bit of a red herring, one day maybe, they denied that CQC have a working Quantum encryption key, as far as they know its not something that GOS can make use of as things stand and the rights that we had have expired, they do seem uncomfortable talking about this though when it is brought up. SD99 is a really decent fella, he may have something to say about our options going forward. Thats about it folks." | hedgehog 100
30/1/2020 11:43 | Hedge you need to give waseem a call from stanhill, I spoke to him in November. It will give you some clarity. Previously I had spoken to Idris a few times. The business is making a small profit. The Keys are still a little while off but I don't think GOS is now the vehicle to distribute them unfortunately (my impression). Call him and let me know if you concur. Where we get some good value down the road from our cqcl shares, remains to be seen. | chesycustard
30/1/2020 09:33 | Just over a year ago, ITS-GOS held an annual shareholder meeting: "Intelicrypt Tactical Solutions Limited (“Intelicrypt& Annual Shareholder Meeting London, 18 December 2018 – Intelicrypt, the holding company of GOS Systems ("GOS"), a UK technology group and specialist in secure communications and tactical intelligence, today provides shareholders a notice as follows. The Company will be hosting an annual shareholder meeting at 14.00 GMT on Thursday 17th January 2019 at 3rd Floor, 32 St James’s Street, London SW1A 1HD. About GOS Systems GOS Systems is a global telecommunications carrier providing a range of leading-edge tactical and strategic intelligence gathering and communication solutions for law enforcement, government agencies and commercial entities For further information please contact info@gos-systems.com But there's been no notification of one for this year. Perhaps they're holding off for something? Or maybe they don't feel that one is necessary at all, if they don't expect ITS-GOS to be independent for too much longer ... | hedgehog 100
29/1/2020 18:46 | I did suggest that a year ago but they didn't think it was worth it then. Can't see any progress here for a while. | chesycustard

29/1/2020 14:39 | Stig, For you to call someone else sad is like Genghis Khan preaching about world peace. And your postings remind me of the following notorious historical quotes: “The great masses of the people will more easily fall victims to a big lie than to a small one.” “Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it” | hedgehog 100
28/1/2020 19:34 | LOL bought TRX at 1p initially and average is around 1.1p Hedge you are a sad case :-) | the stigologist
28/1/2020 19:22 | Forargue, That's just the TRX fall today, after having been ramped relentlessly with the most appalling b.s. If you'd lost 14.3% a day for even just one week, you'd have lost over half your money. And many TRX investors have lost far more than that: it's declined from over 30p in early 2014, and from over 8p since early last year, to the current share price of barely a penny. | hedgehog 100
28/1/2020 17:42 | If only I'd lost 14.3% on TGL. | fovargue

The reason software isn't sold with a guarantee is that you can't guarantee that all the lines of computer coding don't clash with each other. Which is quite a sobering thought, when you remember how much of our world is dependent upon computers. " "Boeing delays 737 Max return date to July 21 January 2020 ... The jet has been grounded since March after two fatal crashes, which together killed 346 people. ... It previously said it expected the planes to be cleared for approval before the end of 2019. But in December, Boeing announced plans to halt production of the aircraft and last week, it confirmed it had found a new problem in the software. ... Boeing has been under intense scrutiny since two 737 Max planes crashed within five months of each other, first in Indonesia and then in Ethiopia. Air safety officials investigating the tragedies have identified an automated control system in the plane, known as MCAS, as a factor in both crashes. Boeing has said the MCAS software system, which relied on a single sensor, received erroneous data, which led it to override pilot commands and push the aircraft downwards. It has said it is fixing the software and has overhauled its review procedures. But US lawmakers, who are investigating the company, have said the firm was aware that the software system could be unreliable. They have accused the company of trying to hide the risks and rush the plane back into service, while criticising the US regulator - the Federal Aviation Administration - for failing in its duty of oversight. The 737 Max is Boeing's fastest selling aircraft. An updated version of the company's short- and medium-haul workhorse, it was designed to be more fuel efficient than its predecessors." | hedgehog 100

Cambridge Quantum Computing Ltd. are currently hiring for about twenty jobs! ... " Further to that above news just over six months ago, CQCL's hiring programme seems to have gone well. The company's Wikipedia page shows it as having eighty employees (in 2019): "Number of employees 80 (2019)" And the company is currently hiring for just eight positions. | hedgehog 100
12/1/2020 12:29 | Thanks for the info godolphin. They really need to work on their company names. As well as giving investors in ITS their money back. | 1399peter
12/1/2020 12:00 | I see Stanhill set up "Compositional Intelligence Limited" and brought in Bob Coecke who seems to be an expert in quantum theory. A bit of an odd move but be interesting to see what happens next. | godolphin
31/12/2019 16:07 | Singray105 5 Dec '19 - 19:13 - 8251 of 8259 Not in their nature Mark. They stitched everyone up when it was a gold explorer, and then again after purchasing GOS. You couldn't make it up it's so bad, I lost out twice here. One mistake like this and my medium/high risk portfolio was wiped out. As the old saying goes, when you pick something that is made out to look too good to be true, it usually is. They completely misled us with the RNS's that they were putting out, there should have been an investigation into their shenanigans. | the stigologist

11/12/2019 18:54 | Thanks for that ih: this development looks like a major boost for the quantum computing industry - "Physicists produce quantum states in ordinary electronics The findings may prove to be revolutionary. by Tibi Puiu - December 10, 2019 in News, Physics ... Awschalom and colleagues published a paper in the journal Science, demonstrating they could electrically control quantum states embedded in silicon carbide. Immediately, this opens the possibility of designing quantum computers based on traditional materials, which could vastly accelerate their development. ... For decades, consumers have enjoyed the dividends of Moore’s Law — an empirical observation that states the number of transistors in an integrated circuit doubles every two years or so. This prediction has proven true ever since it was first proposed by American engineer Gordon Moore in 1965. However, there’s a physical limit to how many transistors you can cram into a chip — and in a decade we should all be feeling it. But, by integrating quantum mechanics with classical semiconductor technology, these new developments suggest that we might not only avoid Moore’s brick wall but scale computing power to incredible heights. ..." | hedgehog 100

06/12/2019 14:59 | Ray & Mark, The DFX exit price offered of 3p per share is very similar to the closing DFX share price on Friday 31.10.19, of 2.75p. The DFX share price then to collapsed to 0.75p on Friday 1.11.19, one trading day before the delisting was announced: not very admirable that, is it? And they may only be making the offer because they might struggle to get the necessary 75% approval otherwise. But the obvious point in comparison to TGL's delisting is that DFX's delisting is voluntary: how on Earth was TGL supposed to make this sort of offer before delisting when it was delisted against its will when time ran out? That said, if CQCL acquires ITS then we may potentially get a similar option, though I personally would opt for shares in CQCL - the upside could be enormous. 04/11/2019 07:00 UK Regulatory (RNS & others) Defenx plc Proposed cancellation of admission to AIM LSE:DFX Defenx Plc "Defenx PLC (AIM: DFX), the cyber-security software group, announces that it intends to seek shareholder approval to cancel the admission of its ordinary shares of 1.8 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange (the "Cancellation").
