IMV no point even considering buybacks when you have a number of acquisition opportunities.

Well it's something to do with potential medical liability payments which never actually materialise. Essentially it's extremely cautious accounting and most definitely not something to be concerned about!

Marvel boy you obviously don’t understand business financials so why don’t you join the Question And Answer session with the rest of us tomorrow and ask for an explanation from the FD so you don’t make a fool of yourself on here !!

This has been covered many times; you need to understand what the £27 million figure actually refers to......

Trade and other receivables 8,549
Trade and other payables (27,968)
Net Payables (19419)
Cash 18282
Real Cash available (1137)

So they intend to pay a dividend (again) at the expense of Trade Creditors

No real change from previous set of accounts and they still have negative net current assets

So many excuses to explain the pathetic share price reaction.

Indeed but presumably they had similar pressures in the first half and they still produced great results. If that is what the market is seeing as the negative, then there is no hope....

Did no one notice the 2nd para from statement? Given this is a people intensive business guess it makes a difference.

"Like all employers, we face challenges in filling vacancies at all levels. We remain committed to provide responsive service levels as part of our partnership with the NHS and as demand continues to increase for such services."

Excelent results.
Shame the market is such an ungrateful pesimist.
Selling TLY would be a direct reflection of that.
However, if PBT continues to improve to £2M for FY to March 2022,
P/E will still be c. 30 on £63M. hence the dull share price IMO.

I prefer bolt-on acquisitions to improve that P/E which IMO is the problem with share price

Here's the scenario

1. Buybacks dor 12months
Sp stays in the doldrums

2. Increase dividends to 2p and the share price multibags to triple figures.

I know which one id choose.

For clarity, I am certainly in favour of earnings enhancing acquisitions & agree that they rank above buybacks. A progressive divi policy (which hopefully we now have in place) is also more important use of cash IMO.

Depends how much of the cash will be left after that. If you think the share price should be closer to 50/60p as I do then I still think buybacks have a place if cash allows.

Good investors don't get taken in with bribes - you don't often get a large divi increase and see the share price fall. lol

Buy backs would provide a temporary boost to the share price

Earnings enhancing acquisitions would provide a longer term gain to the business.

Barkboo and Football I don’t know why you both don’t just sell up and disappear if it is so bad, of course I forgot you don’t actually hold here you are just bitter and twisted ex Totally management kicked out for being incompetent.

Surely using some of the cash for an earnings enhancing acquisition would be a much better use of the money than a buyback....

All very positive (except for the inexplicable share price reaction).

Divi is now at a reasonable level & will hopefully grow. That in itself is a good reason to hold. The numbers all look good and progressing well in the right direction.

Good to know that they are progressing with some acquisitions & they will not need a cash raise to fund them.

I know many of you are against buybacks - and I would agree they are often ineffective & sometimes counterproductive- but I maintain here they would get the share price shifting up towards what I consider a fairer valuation. Maybe even get authorisation (again) might be enough of a push.

Other than director buys and completion of the bolt ons, I’m not sure what else they can do to increase the SP

Will be interesting to hear what they say tomorrow at the presentation.

footballl - the divi was a last throw of the dice imo, they have loss making contracts...

111 have a terrible name - look for yourself. If you thought that was good news this morning, take your ice making machine to Antarctica!

Where are you going to make money?

I won’t be selling any yet, not with multiple acquisitions on the horizon and a 0.5p dividend to collect. All I can see is positives.
