20/4/2004 16:42 | It was mainly just down to Patricia telling the facts she could find of the company and bingo halls in general. It was all fairly bland and most didnt want to invest in Bingo halls they couldnt see the positives, however all said the dividend statement was good news. I've got some and will probably hold for a year or so. | smallchange
20/4/2004 13:36 | SC thank you for the summary of the cast - could not make it. Did you get the perception that it was positive - or did it have a modcum of spin. Who where the players in the Intercast. Thanking you in antcicpation | oh no
20/4/2004 00:11 | The Intercast talk was just a look at the company and the possible future of the share price. In brief alot of focuswas put on the fact that the co has a built up a large amount of intangible assets and had the share issue...on looking deeper the presenter found that TTH seemed to be alot smaller than the two largest bingo hall operators but were concentrating on a diffrent market. Lower customer base but higher spending etc... I have no Idea of bingo hall operation but van safely say that most of TTH is tightly held and they have expanded the operation in the last year...now the expansion is paying off, they are going to pay a dividend. Then I look at the chart and put some TA onto it, Its broken a downward resistance and will hopefully test resistance at 8p and then trade 8p-8.5p untill results. (thats a chartist viewpoint) Lets wait and see. | smallchange
19/4/2004 20:12 | bonney - cheers for that - price seems to be on the rise and we stoill have to get past the mgic 8p resistance level. Will top up until then. Tried Intercast - but not v good | swiss paul

19/4/2004 08:47 | Heard some rumours...looked at the chart, looks like the low was reached at 6.4-6.5...and heard rumours of a dividend...that'll get the price moving. Holding till results. | smallchange
18/4/2004 20:07 | I haven't seen it myself, the week before it was in the IC has a penny share to follow turning pennies into pounds (Top Ten Holdings has been slowly expanding its operations, and a government favourable to progressive changes in the industry has been helpful) this week there is a update | bonney

17/4/2004 10:08 | Adie Could one possibility be selling property and leasing it back? | bonney
15/4/2004 21:49 | Adie, good post - see if oh no can ask his young lady on his next telephone call. But if I remember they where due to pay a divi last year and this was pulled and it was stated that this was due to purchase of clubs. Could this be where the money is? | swiss paul
13/4/2004 21:04 | Am I too presume that TTH could be looking at profits of £2m for the year? as CS expectations were as follows: Charles Stanley & Co Ltd [R] 17-12-03 BUY Pre-Tax Profit: 1.88m EPS: 0.35p I also note the following major shareholders: Shares in issue: 381.3m 1p Ords Anstruther Properties Ltd(dup) 180,000,000 50.00% c/o Alan H Weston Philip Bruce Roberts 60,000,000 16.67% Sir Aubrey Brocklebank 1,050,000 minimal but a recent exercise of options Richard Simons 1,000,000 minimal but a recent exercise of options This shows that 66.67%+ is held in tight hands, especially as they are in a close period and cannot make any transactions for the next couple of months or so. Current price 7.5p = market cap of £28,597,500. So say profit of £2m - 30% tax (est) = £1,400,000. So is currently trading at a p/e of circa 20, which appears not to be bad, but the Company appears to be expanding quite fast so perhaps a higher PE could be applied. The first 6 months of the year showed a big increase, and the second half appears to be a further increase slotting in with the recent trading update and the CS broker forecasts. Mind you the interims appeared to show a net liability situation, and whilst the fund raisings appeared to have been just enough to purchase the eight bingo clubs, no additional monies were raised for the expected £1.5m refurbishment costs of Billingham. So where is this money coming from for this? This doesn't quite tie in with there being sufficient cash around to make a maiden dividend comments so perhaps there is something I have missed. Has the refurbishment started/finished? I just think that to have increased their cash position so as to pay out a dividend they would have needed to exceed expectations quite substantially - not just "slightly". Anybody else with any info/thoughts on the above that can give a clearer view or confirm my research? Many thanks Adie2001 | adie2001
11/4/2004 17:24 | Oh no check out this: Asked fingers on the £1 thread post number 1041 on 09/04) Think we will test soon? | swiss paul |
