Well, there is Gala and Mecca. One of them is owned by a massive group called RANK group. They also own the chain of Grosvenor casinos and some other impressive brands.

No large sells even with the tick up, so I agree Aerotus, hopefully more blue to come. I'll stick with my 100% gain in 4 weeks prediction. Can anyone think of a comapny larger than TTH that is in the same line of business and quoted on the LSE?

Important thing is that its finally at full offer price. First time its been there for a few days. Barring any further stock overhang a few more buys should send the offer up again. I'm still surprised that more people aren't buying this.

edit: I have a sneaky suspicion there's another large sell in the system or this would surely have gone up by now. I guess we will see at 4pm.

now looking a bit diffrent another T trade this time on the buy side...and still they sit on the 7.25 offer price, wonder how long it will sit at this price.

Looks like it Smallchange. Offer this morning has already moved from 7.18 to 7.20 on only two reported buys. Wont take much for the tick up to 8p to happen. This looks like the last of the cheap buying opportunities.

Aerotus, did you manage to get any this morning?

with the large T-trade yesterday think the holding may be gone. Whoever is selling may well hold off for a while for the price to rise.

They must have quite a lot on their books given the difference in quote prices. It was possible to buy from them at 7.05 but now it's about 7.19 so although it's still inside the spread its getting closer to full offer price, a sign that they overhang is nearly clear.

I just hope that this isn't a big holder drip feeding a sell order into the market, but even if he depresses the price now, the shares should still fly after the results if i'm right.

KBC only mm left at 7.25...so how much of an overhang have they got on the books and not following the market. Trading at a 10% discount to other mm´s

Yes goliard - Exciting day! Lots of big buys. Momentum really building up, + what looks like the last of the overhang (1 million T-Trade sell) has cleared up. Blue skies from here on.

I'm topping up tomorrow morning! Should see a 50% rise by the time results filter through to joe public.

Strong buying again this morning. I would expect to see the offer hit 8p fairly soon. (current 7.25), also the best price to buy has moved up from 7.05 to 7.11 so we seem to have cleared whatever stock overhang there was with the 1million T sell.

I would have thought that such a move would have been the subject of an rns before the results were posted. I'm hoping that additional profit is not simply because of exceptionals. I'm never a big fan of sale and leaseback schemes unless the company is in real financial difficulty. Essentially all you do is sell your best assets and then gradually give all the money away (in rent) until its all gone and you have nothing left. There are always exceptions to this of course. One further point is that a sale and leaseback of 8 units would produce a far higher exceptional gain than this.

All just my opinion and i've bought some more this morning.

Goliard - What is your view on TTH owning 8 bingo halls (freehold) and then selling 7 of them and then leasing them?

Would this not create £500K-1 million instant profit and increased cashflow? Although would this also reduce the fixed assets of the company and thereby lower its NAV?

Could this be the exceptional reason for such high profits? What are your views?

Thats exactly what i mean. 'Slightly' implies small but decent growth, maybe £600k instead of £500k, so thats why I know my expectations seem fairly ludicrous. As i said, wait for the reults and i'll either post my apology or be feeling pretty happy.

Cant really tell you much more Aerotus and i know this doesn't clarify things much. I think, 'wait and see' is the best i can say.

Where do these rumours come from? If I remember correctly, the trading statement said "Trading slightly ahead of market expectations". The word slightly is either being used VERY prudently or twice expected profit is asking for too much??
