Is it not more likely that we are not participating in this round. Remember when the talk of the forum was about a previous round and the share price was going to fly yet we wernt even in the bidding. It is important to manage expectations and unless there is official news i think talk of participation and possibly people in the know disclosing information should be taking with a pinch of salt.

David Weill, one of the Founders of TLDH conveyed the following overview this morning.

"No need to get caught up in this reporting of trades issue and I personally do not believe that it is any conspiracy - the market makers are nice young men doing their job and creating liquidity by matching trades and that is what they get paid for. I do not believe that they run any large positions for their own book.

My own analysis based on the flows that we have seen is that to mind there is still pent up demand from the placing that did not get satisfied and that is why we are already 30% up from the level that they purchased. Needless to say that is the highest compliment that the company can be paid as it shows real confidence from the investor community that they are willing to aggressively buy shares.

It looks like a test of 20p is in store for us soon in my opinion. There seems to be rag tag amounts of 50-100k lots going through but there aren't any big offers in the millions that I can see. That implies the share price will get marked up on the marginal purchase which is good news.

With time we should see a movement in the share price to a more realistic valuation of the company which is where I think that it should be at this stage of its development which is around 45p."

He's stated that eventually, this should command a multi billion dollar mkt cap, based on the Company's own proje tions, hence with a view to their own expectations regarding Takeover starting points.

Surely if we participated in this round of auctions as members of this board were indicating then news would have been released yesterday or this morning at the latest. Otherwise they are holding back price sensitive information which I presume quite a few people in the delegation process would have access to.

Trademark holders get first dibs on .kiwi domains

Thursday, 20 February, 2014 - 09:43
After more than two years of planning, Dot Kiwi Ltd. (Dot Kiwi) has opened up its exclusive registration period for trademark holders, known as the Sunrise period, today.

Trademark holders have until March 17 to secure their trademark as a .kiwi domain name. Following this date Dot Kiwi will review the applications, and for domain names with only one valid applicant Dot Kiwi will immediately register the domain name. If there are multiple trademark holding applicants for the same domain name, all parties will be invited to bid for the domain name.

.kiwi is one of the hundreds of new domain names, known as generic top level domain names (gTLDs), launching online. In mid-March .kiwi will become one of the first in the world to officially launch to the public, meaning all New Zealanders will be able to register .kiwi domain names and immediately activate them.

The Auctions have obviously been spread over several days, reflecting on the number of Domains being bid for.

That would strongly suggest TLDHs participation in such, especially considering most of their domains will be bid on within the H1 2014 period.

I can't make any further comment on that.

I've just had an update from my contact whose reliably informed me that the Applicant Auction process, commenced on the 18th feb, is still ongoing.

He stated results of such should be 'publicly' stated next week, although we may obviously hear something sooner.

That info's extremely reliable from an impeccable source, so no issues with any delays etc regarding the process - it's current!

Very good ftft. Winning auctions that Amazon & Google take part in may be impossible as the big tech companies have more money than they know what to do with. On the flip side wouldn't it be nice is they got in a bidding war to take us over.
