04/5/2019 18:54 | KCOM bought Eclipse Internet for £12.5m. There are many similarities between Eclipse and Toople. I can see the likes of Daisy (e.g.) acquiring Toople in much the same way, the $64,000 question is how much? | realcooltrader
04/5/2019 18:38 | A takeover is the logical endgame and it will be for more than the £504m just paid for KCom. | top tips
04/5/2019 17:08 | I would not be pleased at all if this was bought out at 3pps. That is just £28M which, if the next two sets of results confirm exponential and sustained growth, would be far too cheap. But, first things first. Let's have the results in to confirm, lest we get too carried away,Marmie | marmiesz
04/5/2019 16:58 | I bought in yesterday as this is the first time the stock has significantly closed over the 200sma since the stock launched in 2016. This is due a significant move don't sell out to early... | j2bull
04/5/2019 16:11 | Incredibly rare to come across a stock with such multibag potential. | parob
04/5/2019 15:48 | Toople could be taken out at 3p. I am longer term and would like to see tens of pence. Hottingup, Top Tips and City Chappy are showing the path here. To be fair, Toople's progress is so prolific that maybe it is a matter of where a takeover happens. | 2mex
04/5/2019 08:20 | City Chappy posted the update from the 11th of April. In it it states that since the latest update on the 22nd March further significant operational and financial progress had been made. We already know that the results will have a lag factor due to upfront costs but do we now have an unknown factor to counterbalance the lag factor. Significant operational and financial progress? Something of operational significance happened over a three week period at the end of the interims. How much financial progress. Will the update now be more important than the historic previous six months. It would be nice to think so... | bobdown2
04/5/2019 04:37 | I won't be posting for a bit,if another poster appears here negative but with a name similar to mine, it is not me. I already have a stalker called 12bm (thehitman1)and he does like to blacken my name. I am in Toople for several years and I won't be posting anything negative about it as I expect it to multi-bag. | 12bn
03/5/2019 23:01 | Daisy Group prepares for acquisitions after £1bn refinancinghTTps://w | parob
03/5/2019 22:58 | I agree, think that they will get taken out in the short to medium term for a good few pence. You look at the acquisition history of Daisy for example and it is relentless. Take a look on wiki it's as long as your arm. | cookie dough
03/5/2019 21:01 | top tips 5% within 3 years would be nice but 5% within 5 years from last year when it was first mentioned by the Chief Exec, would still be a share price gain of more than 1p a month using KCOM as the comparison (more if we use Daisy). N.B. - KCOM had 5% of the UK SME market and accepted an all cash takeover offer of £504m (33.8% premium to previous days closing price) on 24/4/2019, implying: -- TOOP share price on gaining 5% of the UK SME market = (504 / 2.62) x 0.28p = 53.86p | tewkesbury
03/5/2019 20:07 | Consider Andy Hollingworth's positions at TalkTalk: Director of Partners (wholesale)_____ Sep 2003 – Aug 2012 Director of SME and Corporate Sales _ Aug 2012 – Oct 2015 Andy will have many key contacts. The contacts will already be locked into wholesale contracts with other providers. ...but locked in for a fixed time. The clock is ticking. Once out of contract, they may then change to Toople. This would unlock massive potential. If large contracts are typically 3 years duration, then the floodgates could soon open. Bear in mind Toople's target: 5% SME market share within 3-5 years. They have reason to state this. The £3.5 million contract was with someone Andy has known for 15 years - I seem to recall it was someone who was "absolutely fed up with BT". Well that's 49% of the SME market to go at. | 2mex
03/5/2019 19:15 | I expect 1p to 2p gain per month once customer momentum builds. If TOOP manages to get 5% of the SME market within as little as 3 years, as recently suggested by the CEO (22/3/2019) that is an average of 1.66% per year, equivalent to 17.9p - 24.9p per year on the share price depending on whether you use KCom or Daisy as the valuation comparator. Happy days. | top tips
03/5/2019 19:00 | Toople PLC 11 April 2019 Update on Trading and Date of Interim Results Toople PLC (LSE: TOOP), a provider of bespoke telecom services to UK SMEs, gives the following update on trading ahead of its interim results, which will be announced in early May 2019. The Board is pleased to announce that the interim results are expected to be in line with management expectations. Turnover and gross profit continue to grow substantially and the Company's cash position remains strong with in excess of GBP1.1 million as at 31 March 2019. The Board is pleased to report that since the Company's last update on 22 March 2019, Toople has continued to make further significant operational and financial progress. Following strong trading in January and February, momentum has continued and March 2019 was a record month of small business sign ups contracting directly with Toople. In addition to the new customer wins Toople is pleased to announce that the GBP3.5m partner contract win announced on 29th August 2018 (which has now been successfully integrated onto the Toople Merlin billing and provisioning platform), continues to perform in line with expectations and the first batches of customers have been transferred over to the Toople billing platform. Andy Hollingworth, CEO at Toople commented: "Toople has ended the first six months of its financial year, as we began it, trading strongly, with our digital marketing campaign and investment in in-house sales paying off. We are generating an increasing level of enquiries from potential customers and a growing conversion rate." | city chappy
03/5/2019 18:53 | Got a feeling this will soon be 10p. | tewkesbury
03/5/2019 18:43 | The Golden Cross pointed to a major rally on way and it looks like it has started. Bank Holiday Monday so only 2 or 3 trading days left until interim results. | 2mex
03/5/2019 18:25 | It's been very pleasant chatting today. Majority of us agreeing that TOOP has potential. Carry on being positive next week. GLA | mam fach
03/5/2019 17:26 | @ff2345 (#1545) I too have a 15% GM, but my turnover is slightly lower than yours at £1.06m. My costs must be higher (H1/18 + 10%) at £972k to give a Loss of £791k. I presume the Property rental income of £104k is still coming in, although not shown in the interims usually. * Perhaps this extra income could be used to pay off the loan * lolol I have an EPS of -0.08p, which is an improvement on H1/18 -0.35p and YE/18 of -0.60p I do hope your figures are closer to the actuals, but even so, I believe it's the customer growth and the outlook statement that will be more important. GLA (that are long) for the results which should hopefully be this coming week. Edit: BTW, it's really difficult getting any replies or answers out of @thehitman1 on the other thread ;^) | dsct
03/5/2019 16:59 | 2p+ by June. | top tips
03/5/2019 16:48 | Yes great finish to the week, results next week? Things are looking up ! | queenwood
03/5/2019 16:43 | Nice end to a nice week. Hopefully next week will see the share price leave the 0.3p range behind once and for all. Have a great long weekend all :-) | azuli |
