31/1/2023 14:28 | Goulding .. Looks like someone is working a large buy or sell through at mid-price. Most probably a sell. Could be a placing flipper. Placing was at 0.35p | ducky fuzz

31/1/2023 14:17 | Huff n' puff is an enhanced oil recovery method in which one well alternates between injection, soaking, and production. Gas injection is often used in this scenario because of its high injectivity compared to water and its ability to develop miscibility with the reservoir oil. | talais
31/1/2023 14:14 | Are we at 0.50p yet??!!!!!!! gla | nicosevos
31/1/2023 14:14 | fenners has just told me now that he is the proud owner of 9m shares he is happy to suck the oil out of the ground with a straw. He claims to be an expert in the 'huff and puff' technique. Never knew it was called that! | the diddyboys
31/1/2023 14:11 | UT trade Tal. So we should go up soon. | ducky fuzz
31/1/2023 14:11 | Ducky, I'd see Greenfield going forward as having someone from the Joint Venture side appointed as the lead Project Management on TS2, alongside someone appointed by Tomco to assist. That person may not have to be JP, Tomco could bring in someone new, allowing JP to look at developing Tomco in other areas outwith TS2. | damac
31/1/2023 14:01 | I'm certain John P will be very involved in Greenfield. I really don't think he will have any time to do anything else with TOMco. So I see TOMco with a yearly revenue giving shareholders a special divi each year as someone has mentioned here. I would imagine this rns we are expecting will give us a lot of exciting info for us to ponder. I have no idea whether the CO2 process can be used on TOMco's other leases, that might be an option down the line. But until we get a few years revenue behind us we have no options anyway. | ducky fuzz
31/1/2023 13:56 | From Tomco website Through the Oil Mining Company, TomCo holds nine separate Mineral Leases, being ML49570, ML49571, ML48801, ML48802, ML48803, ML48806, ML49236, ML49237 and ML50151. All of these are in the Uinta Basin of Utah, USA and together they cover a total area of 15,488 acres. They are underlain by the Green River Shale Formation, which is the largest known oil shale deposit in the world.TomCo engaged SRK Consulting (Australasia) Pty Ltd. ("SRK") to complete an independent technical review of two of its oil shale leases, ML 49570 and ML 49571, and we were pleased to announce the results of their review on 18 March 2019, which provided a best estimate Contingent Resources (2C) of, in aggregate, 131.3 million barrels of oil assessed under Petroleum Resources Management System ("PRMS") guidelines, plus a best estimate Prospective Resource (2U) of, in aggregate, 442.8 million barrels oil across the two leases. The Holliday A block, covered by ML49571, where two field tests of TurboShale's RF technology have been undertaken to date, has 2C Contingent Resources of 57.3 million barrels of oil and 2U Prospective Resources of 84.7 million barrels of oil.Leases ML48801, ML48802, ML48803, ML48806, ML49236, ML49237 and ML50151 comprise, in aggregate, 12,569 acres and are estimated to contain over 1.2 billion barrels of potential oil (as measured by the United States Geological Society) based on the projected thickness of the known oil shale zones.Incorporated in 2017, TurboShale is the Group's technology development company. It acquired from JR Technologies, LLC two key patents for an oil shale extraction technology, proven from a technical feasibility perspective, which demonstrated the benefits and efficacy of using a process involving the use of radio frequency ("RF") in the extraction of oil & gas from oil shale. The Company believes that this relatively low-cost and environmentally benign disruptive technology has the potential to unlock TomCo's oil shale assets.Greenfield Energy LLC was formed in June 2020 as a 50/50 JV, between the Company and Valkor LLC, a global EPCI company, to explore the potential to deploy oil sands separation technology, in conjunction with Petroteq Inc. | talais
31/1/2023 13:56 | I don't think it can. | damac
31/1/2023 13:53 | I wonder if it can be removed in the same way as the tar sands proses. | vauch
31/1/2023 13:51 | Vauch, Yes, the 9 leases currently held elsewhere by Tomco contain valuable oil reserves, they just need to find a sustainable and profitable way of unlocking it from the shale. The oven extraction method trialled by Red Leaf failed. Tomco's Turboshale method using radio frequency injection was inconclusive when they opted to park it to concentrate on a better opportunity that presented itself, bringing us to where we are today. On the back of future revenues generated from a free carry stake in Greenfield on all activities on TS2, I'd imagine Tomco would at least consider revisiting their other leases and contemplate potential methods of extraction. | damac

31/1/2023 13:34 | Oh and another purchase by Tomco A few years back The Company is also pleased to announce that it has secured seven additional mineral leases from their current holder, subject to their transfer to the Group being approved by The Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration ("SITLA"). The leases cover approximately 12,500 acres in aggregate with approximately 1.5bn barrels of oil in place (as measured by the United States Geological Society). These leases are located within the Uintah Basin, in the same Green River formation as the Company's other two leases, in Utah. There will be minimal ongoing costs in respect of these additional leases. | vauch
31/1/2023 13:19 | This what I was looking for detail of our other leases that have a surface minable oil shale. An RNS from many years back TomCo Energy Plc owns oil shale leases covering approximately 3,000 acres in the Green River Shale Formation, Uinta County, Utah in 4 separate tracts. SRK Consultants Ltd has declared a surface mineable JORC compliant Indicated Resource of 123 million barrels on the main tract of TomCo's Holliday Block lease. TomCo has entered into a Licence with Red Leaf Resources Inc (Red Leaf), which owns the EcoShale(TM) In-Capsule Process (EcoShale), to use this unique and environmentally sensitive technology to extract oil from TomCo's leases. Red Leaf is planning a 9,500 bopd commercial operation at their Seep Ridge site, which lies about 15 miles SW of TomCo's Holliday Block lease. TomCo's strategy is to develop the Holliday Block lease as a similar follow-on project to Seep Ridge using the EcoShale In-Capsule Process, with the same targeted production of 9,500 bopd. | vauch
