That’s true. They can’t make their minds up if Putin is going to invade Ukraine. He said not, so believe him. Don’t believe anything from Western press, particularly USA. I was out all day in Ukraine. Everything normal plus rush-hour traffic.

Last year the audited accounts appeared on 17th Feb. Tom has a further 5 or so weeks to get the accounts out and given the open issues it may suggest to some that the BOD and BDO are having their work cut out to finalise everything etc! Until JP gets a deal, there have to be question marks - it will be interesting to see what the auditors think and the size of the audit bill may give a clue as to the amount of time the job has taken.
For a small Plc the projected debt level in ginormous irrespective of the off take position and the question in some investors' minds will be how much equity has to be ceded to the third parties.

Negotiating heads let alone agreeing terms could take a very long time and JP should not have suggested any time line - in fact he may have weakened TOM's position with the other parties in this respect. Anyone with commercial experience would realise this and investors just have to wait and see. It is precisely the issue that some have been warning about and why there is doubt over the future.

The questions to be asked / answered are ..

How long is a couple of weeks?
When is the middle of February?
Will TOMco RNS us when they have the terms sheet?
Have they had the term sheet but have sent it back for amendments / discussion?

Friday or Monday! Which Friday or Monday?
These things take time, sometimes a very long time or never. So be cautious with your optimism - many hurdles to get over or go around. It is to be hoped BOD has alternative plan should these heads not materialise. This is a very long term project as PETROTEQ experienced - hopefully drillings proceed apace which seems doable.
