04/3/2021 08:46 | What investors may query is the number of jobs he has. Given that this project is complex and at a critical stage can he give sufficient attention to this company and in particular to John Potter who is carrying the greatest burden. Yes a lot of directors hold numerous jobs and split their time but frequently unsuccessfully. This project is going to devour a lot of time and effort to take forward in the years ahead and it should not be left to one person. Was the chairman born in Feb 1961or March 61. It may be an error on part of Companies House or a third party but he is a Chartered Accountant and all chartered accountants should know attention to detail is quite important ! | ![]() lopodop
04/3/2021 08:25 | The Board should be receiving information daily - the Directors will always be ahead of the game. The regular news will mainly be indicative only - that plans are ahead or behind schedule. Nothing to announce and nothing price sensitive. But it will give them comfort or otherwise. And if they feel comfortable, why on earth shouldn't they buy. If everything was price sensitive, no director could afford the risk of illegality. The hairman bought a few shares on appointment - why not now? He holds shares in other companies apparently , why not this one. Most of the views here are positive, so it is very likely that all is going well. | ![]() lopodop
04/3/2021 07:58 | Also if the board did have positive news it would be classed at Price sensitive so could not keep it to themselves either it would have to be RNS'd | ![]() vauch
04/3/2021 07:42 | Don't be silly dop, that would be illegal trading as would be insider trading, they can only buy once they have RNS'd news. | ![]() freedom97

03/3/2021 22:41 | Go back on some of the comments 8-9 years ago by rmart and skiboy they are fantastic reads, absolutely the biggest heap of manure you could ever read, and still rmart has bought s£45000 worth of shares cause this time it for real, Look back at there comments 10 years ago and see if you can see any difference in there ramping up of tomco, absolute scum | ![]() wilson2
03/3/2021 21:53 | Lopodop stop wasting your time, if only if only the directors would do this and that, do you really think it's going to make any difference.Apparentl | ![]() wilson2
03/3/2021 18:54 | Of course the Board will know already of any postive news. They could indicate their confidence by purchasing shares in Tomco this week. According to information on different web pages, Mr Groat is an investor as well as being a director of businesses. | ![]() lopodop
03/3/2021 16:36 | Soon be January 4th when this takes off !! but hold on its March | ![]() wilson2
03/3/2021 15:24 | Had George S and Valkor been on board ie on the Board, it is likely they would have taken shares in the company which would have stabilised the share price. Until good news is posted in black and white, there is bound to be scepticism on the part of some investors. | ![]() lopodop
03/3/2021 14:52 | According to companies house website, there are a MALCOLM GROAT and a MAURICE JAMES MALCOLM GROAT born March 61 and February 61 it appears. The former is TOMCO's chairman. But Malcolm and Maurice are one and the same to make things easy although birth dates are out by a month. They / he have quite a long list of directorships, one refers to being resident in Malta and they / he have moved around. With involvement in a number of companies, one hopes he/ they have time for TOMCO - all good fun OR perhaps not. May be investors should be more enquiring about the Board. Stuart Little has faith in John Potter which is great but investors may be in the dark about the others. | ![]() lopodop

03/3/2021 08:58 | Well last Friday morning seems a long time ago. Just another smudge on the inexorable trajectory of decay in the share price. The story has no energy left. They have told you the conclusion before they started. They will cobble together the justification that the contraption eked out 250 BOPD in some random 12 hour period and make no mention of its cost of extraction or the ability to reproduce on a single day let alone and more protracted period. Then the story is done. It stops! There is no value to TOM in Petroteq continuing to loan the equipment, PQE could not make it viable and nor can the cake maker. The only thing you are all hanging onto is a 10000 BOPD fantasy that will cost $184m. Get your selves ready for the realisation that it is all over. | ![]() thesageofsaint

02/3/2021 14:02 | "The DIvision of Oil, Gas and Mining extends the deadline for submitting a modified Notice of Intention to Commence Large Mining Operations (NOI) until July 1, 2021, with the following condition: By March 31, 2021, please provide updates to the NOI showing any modifications that have been made to the processing facilities and which are planned. The letter attached to your email indicates the processing facilities are being upgraded, and the NOI needs to be updated accordingly." It also appears they have been trucking in ore from their old site as their existing pit didn't have the expected level of oil sands ore available. They are surveying to find a suitable supply. | ![]() spangler79
